a few people we're asking about UAP and SALT - how things will be integrated and how we keep the token alive, so here some more information:
as you begin your journey on the moon you will first need to create a base. your base will contain a lot of buildings, and those buildings will have a lot of upgrades, including battle 'companions'.
just like in any other RTS/RPG game, upgrades will be driven by resources, and in order to get resources you will need to complete quests, mine materials, fight battles and so on.
by spending UAP or spending SALT (special salt upgrades/buildings only) you will be able to upgrade faster, get exclusive things in the game and much more.
a percentage of those tokens will be burned, the bigger proportion however goes back to you and other players as rewards you can claim in a variety of situations in the game. so the tokens you spend are not necessarily 'lost', if you're playing wisely you can also make more than you spend - assuming other players spend tokens as well.
it's a classic flywheel game economy which not only burns supply, but also incentivizes people to play and most importantly keep playing as well as inviting other people to play with them (yes, multiplayer alliances).
of course there will be limits in place in order to avoid a 'pay to play' scenario where whales have a much bigger advantage than players who just want to play for fun.
another part of the game economy will be the marketplace - during your time playing you will eventually collect a lot of drops and items other players might need, so you will be able to sell them for UAP or buy items you need with our token.
there are also quite a lot of other functions connecting both SALT and UAP to the game, but we don't want to ruin all surprises.
last but not least, if you are on stacks and have not secured your UAP bag yet, its still early, we have only 189 holders and the price is still cheap, which will certainly change once the demo is out.

Bitcoin’s execution layer.
Increasingly convinced that there will likely be one main execution layer for Bitcoin. Game theory of staking dynamics, combined with liquidity concentration, points to this.
Staking dynamics: Ethereum has one major source of low-risk yield: the consensus yield. Even though you could earn higher-risk, higher-return yield elsewhere, most capital goes to the lowest-risk option: the effective ETH fed rate. Multiple on-chain Bitcoin yield options would converge on the lowest-risk yield that is meaningful enough. Offering higher yield with added risk can’t lure that capital away. The Bitcoin layer that can offer the effective BTC fed rate yield at scale is the one with the largest market cap and economy size.
Liquidity concentration: We saw this with Solana vs. Ethereum L2s. A single execution chain offers better UX, and everyone benefits from concentrated liquidity rather than fragmented liquidity and assets spread across multiple L2s (the various Ethereum ones).
We can try to put a valuation framework for what Bitcoin’s execution layer should be worth (an exercise for another post). Right now, I’m just making the point that the probability of getting N different execution layers is very low (unstable equilibrium and bad UX for users). Either one major execution layer exists where, say, 10-30% of BTC supply is actively deployed, or Bitcoin remains a passive asset.
I’m an optimist by nature; I believe that we’ll get one major Bitcoin execution layer.

A little update from behind the scenes.
I’ve recently brought someone on board to help grow our social presence, reach new audiences, and bring more eyes to @GutterCatGang
I’m also currently traveling, meeting people, and exploring new opportunities. I have a collaboration contract in my hands that I’ll begin reviewing this week, with another collaboration draft already in the works. More details as things become concrete.
I’ve also reached out to several people in the Web3 space. Some have brushed me off, some haven’t responded, and others haven’t shown much interest. And that’s fine! I’m not here to beg anyone to work with us. I’ll keep knocking on doors, building relationships, and creating opportunities. If one door closes, we find another. That’s how we move!
The mission remains the same: build Gutter beyond Web3, create real utility, and find new ways to bring value to our holders just by holding their Gutter assets.
And as you’ve seen lately, the merch, products, and drops keep coming! Plenty more on the way.
I know the market isn’t where we all want it to be. I’m not blind to it. But I’m working harder today than I was a few months ago, investing more time, energy, and resources into building something bigger.
Not everything happens overnight, and there’s a lot I can’t share just yet. But trust me, there’s plenty happening behind closed doors, and you’ll continue seeing things roll out.

Crypto runs on narratives, and there’s still no stronger narrative than Bitcoin.
