The 49ers gained 198 yards and scored 2 TDs with multiple RBs on the field (including Kyle Juszczyk), the most yards by any offense this season. San Francisco has gained 160+ yards from multi-RB sets in 4 of their 6 games. No other team has done so once. #WASvsSF | #FTTB

Brady sharing my sentiments on short yardage runs. Not a fan of Power/Counter schemes. The Pats dominated those situations running simple lead plays and off tackle zone runs. It doesn’t seem like anyone runs what they did for two decades anymore.

"They wouldn't know what the hell to do" - Barry Switzer on using the Wishbone in today's football I have to say I agree not only the Wishbone but other offenses. Plenty of teams still have success off of older offenses. #RTDB #Wishbone

Initial tests showed that 49ers offensive weapon Kyle Jusczyk hyperextended his knee and could miss “a couple of weeks”, per source. But he will undergo an MRI today to confirm if the initial tests are accurate.

The 49ers offense featured motion at the snap on 65.6% of plays against the Rams, their highest rate in a game in the Kyle Shanahan era (since 2017). Kyle Juszczyk was in motion at snap on over half of snaps (17 of 33). No other 49ers player had more than five such snaps.

The latest tweak in Kyle Shanahan's offense? Lining up Juszczyk in the flex and putting him in motion. They've been giving defenses fits with it!

Navy's Eli Heidenreich is one of the most fascinating prospects in this class, because his toolkit is soooo unique. Sweep runner, zone big-play guy in the backfield, insert blocker, and can create explosives as an outside receiver. McVay/Shanahan/Kubiak would have field days.

One takeaway from talking with coaches is how smart/creative defenses are getting. You hear about coverage rotations but there so many things we don’t see that defenses do to trick QBs/OCs now that makes running a high volume passing attack is extremely hard. You better be able to run the ball to take the load off of your QB.
