I'm very pleased to welcome French Marxist author and publisher Aymeric Monville to @emancipations_ for a discussion on his newly translated book The Poverty of Left Nietzscheanism.
We begin with a discussion on the current student uprising and its relationship to May ’68. We then examine how Nietzsche entered French intellectual life and became a major reference point for intellectuals associated with the Left. Monville situates his argument within the Marxist tradition of György Lukács and Domenico Losurdo, tracing the prehistory of French Nietzscheanism and examining Nietzsche’s anti-egalitarian and anti-proletarian politics.

🚨 The U.S. government is intimidating UN member states, both publicly and privately, in an effort to change their longstanding vote against the blockade of Cuba.
The fact that the U.S. is holding high-level talks with sovereign states and using coercive tactics solely to secure votes on this longstanding resolution shows how isolated it is on this issue.
No matter what tactics it uses, Cuba will once again score a resounding victory in the General Assembly on 10/28/2026.

@sanchezcastejon - every day Fergie is imprisoned is a grave injustice. He must be released.
