Excellent Dr and great to hear this. Just makes me sad that private hospitals in Scotland can still use the pelvic mesh that has injured many as they come under different regulations 😔
Excellent discussions today at the workshop on non-mesh surgery with Prof Haylen and Miss Asfour at @iugaoffice meeting in Singapore.
The kilt marks the 10-year anniversary of pausing pelvic mesh surgery in Scotland, the first country to do so at the time.

Hear hear - this is both revolting and embarrassing in equal measure. I know this is one side of the story but anyone dealing with mesh complications will have heard this too often to doubt it’s validity.
