So just to be clear, it's completely ok to edit politician's speeches, but never ok for women presenters to silently express the views of the majority of people by highlighting the absurdity of Orwellian language-policing...? (Only *women* can and do get pregnant).

What the fuck has the UK become? This is totalitarianism. Utterly deplorable.
When @Glinner landed at Heathrow, he was met by five armed police officers, and immediately arrested.
His ‘crime’? Three gender-critical tweets.
As Graham says in his Substack:
“In a country where paedophiles escape sentencing, where knife crime is out of control, where women are assaulted and harassed every time they gather to speak, the state had mobilised five armed officers to arrest a comedy writer”.
Graham’s single bail condition is that he does not go on X.
We do not believe Graham’s arrest or the bail conditions imposed were lawful. We will be backing him all the way in his fight against these preposterous allegations and the disproportionate response from the police.

It's an insult to all the women who have reported serious crimes, rape & domestic violence, & had to put up with inadequate investigations & police failures.
Such an indictment of current priorities.
Less by @paddygrant is superb. Most of us already know that we shld #buyless, #buybetter and repair what we have - but it’s articulated brilliantly & unapologetically. Challenges us to consider what a good life is & shows how worshipping @ altar of consumption is not the answer.

Petition calling on the International Cricket Council to exclude Afghanistan from the ICC Champions’ Trophy 2025. If this does not happen, then we call on the England and Wales Cricket Board to boycott the first round England vs. Afghanistan match, scheduled to be played in Lahore on 26th February.
