Here's a background I've been fiddling with for my Megadrive game, temp art from a pack, everything is on BG_B so the A foreground is free to use.
Way too heavy on the CPU and fires too many H-INT's, but it's too cool to throw out.
Maybe the interrupt sequence can be pre-canned?
Would 1000% love to grab this for DC, any chance it is gonna be pressed to a disc?
This is by far the most insane event that has happened to modding world that I have ever seen
Modders are now using AI to fuse two games together, in this instance here Marvel Spider-Man is thrown into Batman Arkham Knight with full web swinging mechanics
At this point I won't be surprised if somehow modders manage to fuse two games together like Red Dead Redemption 2 with Witcher 3 or GTA 5 with Cyberpunk 2077 and so on.
So far there have been working mods like Minecraft inside of Elden Ring, Skate in GTA Vice City, Minecraft inside Mario 64 and much more.

NASA in 1969: "Because of the complex geometry associated with a lunar mission, it is difficult to visualize the various aspects of such a mission. The objective... is to depict what the crew will see during maneuvers and coast periods during the flight of Apollo 11..."
The lad's gone completely mad
Dev update.
Managed to get most of the infrastructure, controls and cameras for local 2-4 multiplayer set up today, hopefully have some racing action up and running in the next 48 hours or so 🫶🏁

Get to the Choppa!
One of the best early 80s games ever is Choplifter (1982) developed in a solo effort by Dan Gorlin and published by Brøderbund.
Softline in 1982 called the game "the first interactive computer-assisted animated movie", describing it as a fusion of arcade gaming, simulation, and filmic visual aesthetics. You might scoff at that now but for anyone who played games in that era, it actually did feal like quite a quantum leap.
The helicopter movement and controls were in fact so realistic (momentum and inertia) in the original version that Brøderbund asked Gorlin to "tone it down a bit" in an effort to make it more playable for casual gamers.

They should have made the entire game in this style… would have been infinitely more interesting.
Go get 'em!
FLASHGAL for arcade (Kyugo Trading/Sega/1985).
Side-scrolling game featuring a character that resembles Wonder Woman, perhaps with a bit of Elektra. The auto-scrolling seems confusing at first, but it plays well and has variety, even with shoot 'em up stages.
Geography is wildly weird, as you pass landmarks like the Statue of Liberty and the White House comes right after, about a city block away.
Kinda obscure as it never received home ports or modern re-releases, but was popular in my region back then.
That's a damn looker of a project right there
