great work mate. interested to see some towns of the darling downs region, some should have higher tfr and lower rates of overseas born. warwick, dalby and goondiwindi come to mind.

You should contact the Elsmore Mennonite community if possible, since they are 31% US foreign-born they might have some knowledge/connections on bringing them over.

i know the janjevci have mostly all relocated but are there any births to ethnic croats in kosovo?

and? WA's largest foreign born community is from the UK, and WA has a massive white south african community.

i can tell this data is wrong because western australia certainly does not have minority white births. Perth is way more Australian white than Sydney or Melbourne.

i highly doubt american whites are more fertile than most balkan white nationalities, even australian whites might be negligibly higher.

i think australia is #1/2. my city has so many french, irish, spanish, and british people on work visas. most stay temporarily but some with high earning careers and good english get permanent residence. this is coinciding with a boom in latino migration as well.

i don't think he looks south slavic at all besides his nose. south slavs typically have strong jawlines and longer faces.

Imočani are known to be quite radical and are all NDH lovers. All my family from here were Ustaše 😂 Great town though

Yes definitely an overestimation of population but I have also heard on internet forums that some Serbs give birth and register their births in RS then return home to K10, due to the difference in birth/school data.

Funny you mention I have family from Imotski too and you're right. They have the same mindset and vibe as West Herzegovina, I think Imotski is one of few Croatia's towns with a positive natural increase too?

all men in my family are 185-195 so yes. we should get bosnia's federation 2025 birth data in a few weeks. should provide some insight, preliminary data and jan-march 2026 data point to subsequent increases in births for west herzegovina. most fertile catholic region in europe?

great guess you're right haha. here's the town of posušje. old data, but the canton's birth rate has only increased since. i think it comes down to the mentality of people, herzegovinian croats marry younger and are way more religious/trad than croats from croatia.

as a bosnian croat aussie you're right. anecdotally speaking i think native born tfr wouldn't be much lower. ex-yugoslavs are religious and 'tribal' and i think that plays a role in higher birth rates. even my region in herzegovina has good tfr judging by population pyramids.

thank you! despite representing only country of birth, i believe these would be one of the only white ethnicities with replacement or close to, tfr in australia.

just curious do you have the tfr of balkan nationals in australia? i'm pretty sure there are some some balkan nations with higher tfr in australia.

2024 data says the NT with a TFR of 1.62, Victoria coming second at 1.52 but only because of registration delays in 2023 leading to an increase in 2024. Third is QLD at 1.50.

these figures are probably because of australians in regional areas/outer suburban areas in QLD, WA and NSW. I believe Tasmania is now one of the lower tfr states.
