ICYMI: Another major announcement for West-East Rail!
Last Friday, I joined @MassGovernor to announce $130 million in federal funding to modernize the rail infrastructure at Springfield Union Station, ensuring the station can accommodate expanded passenger rail service.
This is just the latest milestone in what has been a remarkable series of federal investments benefiting West-East Rail, totaling more than $280 million over the last five years. Having helped write the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, I'm pleased that Massachusetts continues to reap the benefits of our historic legislative achievement.
