Alberta Prosperity Project disavows their separatist leaders after they lost the referendum. Up until then, they were fine. Danielle Smith disavows separatists in the UCP party and caucus after they lost the referendum. Up until then, they were fine. No honor among thieves.

Hilarious and predictable. Boss Hogg Rath and Mitch “the King is going to shoot me” Sylvester both secretly fired by their own separatist group.😆 As I’ve said before, there’s a reason Alberta has cycled through a dozen failed separatist parties since 1980: zealots can never agree with each other, and they can’t organize their way out of a wet paper bag.
The Alberta Prosperity Project says it fired Jeff Rath and Mitch Sylvestre, removed both from its board, then deliberately kept the whole thing quiet until after the referendum because it didn’t want to distract from the vote. Most failed states wait until after independence to start falling apart. #abpoli #cdnpoli

Now, I can’t decide whether I like the last week’s tearful Danielle Smith that coddled separatists and MAGA, or today’s Danielle who appears to have bought a federal Liberal membership and became Captain Canada. Would the real Danielle please stand up! cpac.ca/headline-politics/ep…

Hegseth on Afghanistan: I was a captain in Afghanistan, and we would go to the headquarters in Kabul, and there would be 50 flags at the headquarters. It was a beautiful thing to see 50 different countries contributing to the NATO alliance and the ISAF mission there. Except there were like maybe five that contributed. It was actually closer to one or two that, by the end, were actually involved in kinetic operations. In fact, the ISAF patch, we would joke that it meant "I Saw Americans Fighting."

Some very gullible people talked about Hitler this way — in 1933. But imagine saying this about Hitler as he was laying waste to Europe and slaughtering its citizens — in, say, 1944.
Vance: "I've never met Putin in person. I've spoken to him on the phone. He was calmer than you might expect. The American media has a stereotype of him. He's very deliberate and measured in his words. I think, at his core, he's someone who cares about Russia's interests as he sees them. One reason he respects the President is that he recognizes the President cares about the interests of the American people."

1) A trade deficit is not a loss 2) The deficit with Canada was $27B last year, not the $90B he keeps using 3) The deficit with Canada exists because American companies buy a lot of cheap Canadian oil 4) Uh, what
Trump: I do not want to lose $90 billion for the privilege of allowing Canada to have a healthcare system and other things that they shouldn't have. They spend our money!

The statement in the video misstates the US-Canada trade deficit as a $90B loss subsidizing healthcare; the goods and services deficit was $27B in 2025 and stems mainly from US purchases of Canadian oil while Canada's system is funded by its own taxes. usafacts.org/articles/us-ca… canada.ca/en/health-cana… realeconomy.rsmus.com/market-minute-… ustr.gov/countries-regi…

Imagine seeing this daily horror and saying that the one who "needs to go" is the leader of the victim country and not the aggressor country. What moral idiocy. What cowardice.
The russians bombed a supermarket in Odesa. Make no mistake. Everyone who wants peace bombs grocery stores, churches, kindergartens and playgrounds. Those who want war bomb the aggressor's war machine. Welcome to 1984.

When are the Americans going to summon up the courage to remove this Looney Tunes character?
The U.S. has proposed that European countries release a portion of frozen Russian assets and transfer them into a fund controlled by Washington—a move intended to help revive peace talks, the Financial Times (FT) reports. European officials rejected the proposal.

Trump is lying again. Putin started the war and has repeatedly refused to negotiate to end it. The US spent nothing like $350 billion. Half the money is not missing. Washington and Moscow are both significantly more corrupt than Kyiv. Putin, not Zelensky, is a dictator who openly steals elections.
And not a word about Putin, who started this bloody war and is killing Ukrainians. Trump is Putin's friend, as he himself says.

This is utterly criminal behaviour by the Trump administration. Ukraine is now fighting Russia, China and the United States, all at the same time. We are in a very dark period. Ukraine’s Exposure Grows as Satellite Use Is Restricted and Russia Escalates nytimes.com/2026/10/14/world… via @NYTimes

Unreal. He really is the Manchurian Candidate.
Trump: “I see so many comments from the Radical Left Morons and Lunatics that China and Russia are helping the ‘wonderful’ Islamic Republic of Iran. If they are, it’s at a very low level, but I don’t believe they are at all. They have too much to lose, and we would know about it, and know about it very fast! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP”

We never communicate what we will do next in our operations. Last night, we did not attack any energy facilities on the territory of Russia because President Trump said that there would be an energy ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia. We did not attack, while Russia attacked our gas stations, energy infrastructure, and other facilities. I think it was Putin’s answer to President Trump. And the message from Russia was very clear – they don't know anything about the energy ceasefire. It's a pity, because they always find reasons not to stop this war. Which is why I think we need more pressure on Russia. From an interview with Fox News.

Peace never comes through weakness. Today, representatives of the U.S. Congress were in Kyiv – a bipartisan delegation – and I am grateful to them for visiting Ukraine at such a difficult time. They asked: what is needed to end the war? The answer must be strong. There must be sanctions under the Lindsey Graham bill, there must be support for Ukraine in protecting lives, and there must be pressure on Russia for its war. And today, there was a conversation between the leaders of America and Russia. A conversation that leads to something different. Recently, there was a European decision to lift sanctions on Russian oligarchs. Since then, Russian strikes and the torment of people have only increased. This past week alone, there was a brutal Russian missile strike on a residential building in Pryluky, aerial bombs were dropped on Kramatorsk – on ordinary city buses – and there have been constant attacks on Kyiv’s energy infrastructure and on the life-sustaining infrastructure in Dnipro, Kharkiv, Odesa, and our other cities. Dozens of people have been killed and hundreds wounded. The Russians are compensating for their inability to achieve their objectives on the battlefield with this kind of terror. This year, Russia is weaker on the battlefield than at any other point in the war. That is why Putin is relying on terror. That is why he is relying on attempts to strike backroom deals to secure some form of pressure relief for Russia, in order to buy more time and more opportunities for war. Any easing of sanctions against Russia without a clear and lasting de-escalation agreement with Russia is an obvious weakness. It plays into Russia’s hands – allowing it to kill more, wage war for longer, have even less respect for America, and inflict even greater losses and damage on the world. Ukraine is ready to take symmetrical de-escalatory steps, and the American team knows our position. Our strikes on Russian oil refineries and other oil facilities are a response to Russia’s years-long campaign of terror against Ukraine’s energy sector. Ukraine will not set Russian oil refineries on fire if Russia does not destroy our energy infrastructure. This is the kind of agreement we are proposing to America, and we believe the United States has enough power to achieve such a compromise. Gifts to Putin will not bring peace or any benefit to the civilized world. Russia will “repay” the diesel with further terror and perfidy. Allowing Russia to sell petroleum products is an investment in a war that must be ended, not prolonged. What is needed is real de-escalation with Russia on a reciprocal basis. We count on America’s fair support for our defense of life, for our defense of people in Ukraine – and on the United States having a correspondingly strong conversation with Russia. A strong one, not a weak one.

So the news today is that both the Alberta separatists and the Quebec separatists have been holding (or seeking) meetings with the Trump administration — colluding with a foreign power in the service of its ambition to break up the country and absorb it piece by piece. For how long are we going to continue to treat this as a legitimate political “option”?
