What is, is actual -what might be simply is not, I must not therefore query God as though he robbed me - of things that are not. Further, the things that are belong to us, and they are good, God given, and enriched. Let not our longing slay the appetite of our living. J Elliot
I hate what has happened to @SlowToWrite.
He and his family have my continual prayers.
I do however, look forward to hearing the testimony of how the Lord uses him during this time. This is not in vain. The Lord has a hard work He has called Samuel too.
He was sleeping soundly on the other end of the couch. Then I sneezed, and here he stands—highly offended.
Fantastic episode. And yes, I am in full agreement with what they say.

The Story Behind the “Unsupervised Woman” T-Shirt
It’s being said that the now infamous “Unsupervised Woman” t-shirt is a feminist statement. So, my wife and I reached out to @mrs_alyse who created it.
One thing is certain: she is no feminist.
She’s a wife who has never been with another man other than her husband. She isn’t a career woman but stays at home and cares for her whole family, including her aging parents.
She does have an Etsy page where she creates graphic designs for t-shirts as a creative outlet. And she created the “Unsupervised Woman” t-shirt, not as a feminist statement but a facetious one. She simply found the "Supervised Woman" statement to be ridiculous.
Furthermore, she and her husband have been struggling with multiple miscarriages followed by years of infertility. They greatly desire to have children. So, comparing her to Lindsay Clancy was extremely hurtful to them.
Now, you may think her making the t-shirt was unwise. At first, I thought it was a fleshly response. But I’m no longer certain that is the case. You may even honestly think that "Unsupervised Woman" would be a perfect feminist slogan. Even if Alyse misunderstood what was mean by "Unsupervised Woman," she didn't deserve the treatment she received from Christian men.
Whatever you may think, this woman is a real person who deserves to be treated with dignity and not disdain. Her intent was not to promote feminism and her life has been lived in seeking to be a Proverbs 31 woman.
I keep hearing that the Ogden men were taken out of context. Maybe that is true. But Alyse''s intentions were definitely misconstrued.
Call me a white knight if you want. But I will continue to be a man who seeks to stand up for women who get trampled on this site by bullies - male and female.
There are real feminists who are evil and deserve a strong rebuke. I've done this many times myself. But let's make certain a woman is actually a feminist before we go after her and treat her one. Otherwise, we may hurt a genuine sister in Christ who simply disagreed with us in a way we didn't like.
How often we forget - me included - that the people we oppose on this platform are real people with real feelings, real families, and real struggles. Maybe we can stop to think about that next time before we create a meme to shame someone and belittle them.
Gotta go with @traci87 in this one!!

The way some Christian men treat women on this platform is shameful!
Every Christian woman I've seen has condemned Lindsay Clancy as evil and vile.
Even if you disagree with how a Christian woman has responded to the whole "unsupervised woman" kerfuffle, why stoop to compare her to Lindsay Clancy?
The whole "I will out meme you and out shame you" is ungodly behavior to say the least.
For the record, I don't care if you call me a white knight. I call it being a godly man who seeks to stand up for women against dark knights.
Just informing @D_B_Harrison that when I see him this weekend to not be surprised if the word “ringtone” will come up often

Sitting on the back porch on a Sept evening at 7:30 pm requires changing into workout clothing because it’s SO HOT.
No. I’m not posting a pic because…ewww, weirdos….yes, and because of those weirdos too.
I’ve never known a dog to be offended by a sneeze. I’m sitting on the porch, I sneezed and he promptly stuck his head in the window to make sure I know he is not happy with me.
All I can say is he’s in the wrong house. Sneezes abound in the Buck household.
Murder cannot be excepted or excused. If she is found anything less than guilty and responsible there will be a slaughter of innocent children. Not because they just want to but now they will believe that’s the natural expression of their “pain”.

Martyn Lloyd Jones tells us in his book, “Spiritual Depression” to not listen to ourselves….because our emotions lie to us. We must then talk to ourselves.
This is me talking to myself today.
There is much sadness and division in the body of Christ these days. We must not become weary to the point of walking away from truth. That is exactly the intent of the enemy in all of this is.
We must remember Who we serve.
The LORD …proclaimed, “The LORD, the LORD, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty… Exodus 34:6-7

It's vital to understand that when heavy handed pastors want to beat a wayward sheep that they want to control, they will weaponize repentance. And when they want to excuse their own sin, they will weaponize forgiveness.

🚨 We reached out and recieved this statement from FBC Lindale concerning the G3/PMBC issue:
The Elders of FBC Lindale were emailed the letter from the former Pray's Mill elders one minute prior to them posting it on social media. As background, after they shared their anonymous allegations with Protestia and after we discovered their involvement on July 30th, we attemped to meet with the Pray's Mill elders privately. Our desire has been, and continues to be, for biblical reconciliation. We have not had time to meet with our elders to process or discuss the letter. This is the first admission that these men have made to us regarding any of their actions, and we will not provide a response at this time. Please pray for us and these men as we seek to meet together privately in the future to bring about truth, peace, and reconciliation.
