WHAT?! It hasn't turned into a sun dappled paradise with completely new architecture and unseasonal flowers within one day in November? Resign Sadiq Khan!

If you're a chief executive on a telephone number salary, at least have the grace not to complain about the taxes that fund the benefits your workers have to claim because you refuse to pay them enough to live on
Was @SuellaBraverman using the equivalent of 18 baths of water per day to water her garden? What the hell is her household doing with it all & why is she claiming it all back on expenses???

Simon Heffer’s final pars in his review of Liz Truss’ new book.
Of all the best examples of the Westminster unreality machine, where parts of the illiberal metropolitan elite and press build someone up clearly beyond their abilities, she was by far the worst. Zero accountability, of course.

It's a good job Suella Braverman claimed £45,000 for water bills on her parliamentary expenses. If she had failed to declare a ten quid overpayment on Universal Credit, she'd have been in serious trouble then.

My focus is normally Labour MPs, but look at this.
Rishi Sunak earns £2.2 million from his side jobs with Anthropic, Microsoft and Goldman Sachs while still being an MP. 💰💰💰

To make it more absurd they then abandoned the live sentencing feed before the judge had finished because it was time for the weather. Is it intern week at #bbcnews? @newswatchbbc
#BBCNews abandoned Burnham's Downing Street speech on rough sleeping to cover the sentencing of an American singer, Chris Brown.

Flávio Bolsonaro wants Brazil’s election annulled because, he claims, Lula “changed the rules halfway through the game” by extending voting hours.
There’s just one rather inconvenient detail. Bolsonaro’s own campaign ALSO requested an extension!
His request covered specific areas, while Lula’s was nationwide, but both wanted voting hours extended.
Now, having lost by 4.4 million votes, he wants the result overturned over a measure his own campaign supported.
Quite extraordinary.
