Imagine being a lib and thinking this is both cool but also an effective way to make some kind of change in the world.

Yes, they are making fun of liberal white women who support Islam. These are different things.
These are the people calling us antisemites for saying Israel should not bomb schools and hospitals.

What an incredibly stupid take.
I Agree with Sam Altman. First of all, local models are useless, they're dumb and slow You'll spend ~$1000 on 128 GB RAM to run a local model And you won't get anything done with it, dumb models at 8tps are useless A $20 subscription will get more things done And for 95% of the time, RAM is not being used so it's doing less work there compared to in a data centre where utility is more
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Local models on suitable 128GB hardware often run at 30+ tokens/second and offer practical uses; 128GB DDR5 RAM kits currently start above $2200, not ~$1000. datahardware.ai/tools/benchmar… theramageddon.com/128gb-ddr5-ram…

Looney Leftoids in Saskatoon, SK talk about neurodivergence like it’s real. However, neurodivergence is a branding exercise, not biology. Everyone’s brain is shaped by unique combinations of thousands of genetic variants. Attention, social processing, sensory thresholds, and executive function are all continuous traits. There is no natural “neurotypical” baseline, just statistical averages. DNA doesnt care about your hashtags and delusions

Steve was a shallow thinking idiot. The argument was only about "extra tax revenue" to mouth breathers who liked a nice talking point. The issue is personal sovereignty and expansion of law enforcement. You want to police a plant that grows out of the ground.
Stephen Kronberg voted 10 years ago to legalize recreational marijuana in his home state of Massachusetts, hoping that it would lead to a boost in tax revenue and a “cleaner product” compared with black-market weed. “I thought it seemed like common sense,” he told me. But next Tuesday, Kronberg, 63, will vote to make recreational cannabis illegal again. @writes__code reports on the movement to undo legal weed in Massachusetts. thefp.com/p/weed-massachuset…?

Maybe I'm wrong but this feels like a personal hobby horse writ large and is a kind of delusion that costs Trump the second half of his second presidency.
Arm the Iranian people! Very pleased to hear others endorsing this. I’ve been urging this since the beginning of military operations against the Iranian regime. The Reagan Doctrine worked.

Those are all valid concerns, which is why Trump and the GOP shouldn't have fucked around for the last two years.
My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will: 1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate. 2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority. 3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority. This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word. All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.

SIR PATRICK STEWART (1940-2026) Before everything else, Patrick was defined by being born and bred in Yorkshire, the proud county in the north of England which he loved to the end. You could hear it in his accented voice and in the stern honesty with which he told you what he thought and felt. Yorkshiremen have no truck with half-truths or avoidance of big issues. He wore his heart on his sleeve, which made him a man to rely on, to admire and in my case, love. We first met as ambitious young actors with the Royal Shakespeare Company half a century ago but we weren’t in the same productions. My first strong memory was a few years later, meeting him in the street in central London when he told me about an offer to take over a leading part in 'Star Trek'. “But Patrick think of your stage career in the UK. Do you really want to risk—getting lost in Hollywood for years and years?”. Well, he took the risk and thank goodness for us all that he did for not just his devoted Trekkies but film and theatre audiences, who marvelled at his using international celebrity to star in a string of cinema successes ('X-Men' of course) and in great classical plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, Arthur Miller, Peter Shaffer, Pinter and Beckett at Stratford-upon-Avon, in London’s West End and on Broadway. America was his adopted home, where he met his adored Sunny who has cared for him through sickness and health, through thick and thin. But he never forsook his origins: and the proudest achievement of the most respected and beloved actor of his generation on either side of the Atlantic, was his appointment as Chancellor of Huddersfield University in Yorkshire. His farewell performance in 'Avengers: Doomsday' is yet to be seen. Ian McKellen 29 October 2026 Photo: University of Huddersfield

5 days until the day of reckoning. Then surely everything will calm down and go back to normal.
So has anybody found out what’s actually going to happen within the next handful of weeks that’s going to plunge us into utter darkness or are we still just in fear mongering mode?

He’s still here. He’s got a fan club. Including us.

That doesn't mean what you think it means.
This quote tells you everything you need to know about Trump. He's so delusional that he thinks any vote against him is fraudulent. He lost California by more than 20 points!

The boys made a few good predictions and observations way back in January of 2020. To look back on it now, remember that briefest of moments when it felt like Disney Star Wars could be good? youtube.com/watch?v=Efskcq_m…
