Met wants to recruit more black officers. We’ve been informally boycotting the @metpoliceuk for the last decade. Miserable recruitment figures after decades of such effort prove that.
Turns out racist work places aren’t that appealing to young blacks.

The PM @downingstreet @ukhomeoffice @MayorofLondon must know the massive drain on public support, trust and confidence, every day this nonsense continues. Black , Muslims, women, LGTBQ+ and migrants all united in their view of the Met Police is being used to suppress free speech.
The Metropolitan police has said it will arrest anyone providing “logistical support” to those protesting the Palestine Action ban in London on Saturday.
This means people could be arrested for bringing water to elderly and disabled people holding placards, organisers Defend Our Juries (DOJ) said.
Commander Adam Slonecki, who is leading the policing operation outside the US embassy, said: “I want to be clear – it is not just those who hold up placards who should expect to be arrested.
“Anyone officers consider to be playing a key role in organising the event, giving instructions to others and/or providing logistical support will very likely be committing an offence and face enforcement action.”
DOJ also raised concerns that this could also include their own media liaisons.
When approached by Novara Media for clarification, a Met spokesperson said: “Section 44 of the Serious Crime Act 2007 makes it an offence to intentionally encourage or assist an offence.
“We are not going to define the terms we’ve used in our press release beyond their plain English meanings. Each incident is assessed on its own merits, and it is for officers to form the reasonable grounds to suspect an offence has taken place.”
A spokesperson for Defend Our Juries said in a statement: “How can the Met possibly justify arresting people who are not defying the ban themselves, who are simply providing logistical support to the peaceful protesters, many of whom are elderly or disabled and in need of support?
“It is also reckless and irresponsible, putting the safety of elderly and disabled people at risk… The moral bankruptcy of the Met is complete.”
The London protest is due to be held at the same time as another in Edinburgh, just days before the start of a supreme court challenge to the ban on Palestine Action.
Both protests hope to draw attention to questions over whether Keir Starmer’s government announced the proscription under pressure from US president Donald Trump, following the spray-painting of Trump’s Scottish golf course by Palestine Action protesters in March 2025.
Palestine Action became the first direct action group in British history to be proscribed as a terror organisation in July 2025. Over 3,300 people have since been arrested for peacefully defying the ban on expressing support for the group.

Britain ‘freed the slaves’ only because it realised it was much more profitable to subject entire nations to settler colonialism, exploiting not just people, but entire lands and their resources. leejaspersnr.substack.com/p/…
Reparations and Slavery:
“Britain freed the slaves.”
Yes they did - they ‘freed’ them into colonial bondage.
They realised it was more profitable than slavery.

Get's our vote Zack and dude...welcome to the lived Black experience - where legitimate claims of racism always start their lives as blasphemies. We stand with you in solidarity.
It rained bombs before it rained water- now the desperate, bedraggled people of Gaza suffer in the freezing cold - while Burnham’s career Labourites display a cynical juvenile student reactionary Neo liberal politics.
What a wonderful thing to wake up to.
One of the few Western politicians with both the principles and frankly the guts to do what is necessary to ensure humanitarian aid to Gaza.

On Wednesday, November 11, 2026, a delegation of US taxpayers and international human rights attorneys will arrive at the International Criminal Court in The Hague. They will hand-deliver evidence to the Office of the Prosecutor and call for arrest warrants against President Donald Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and other senior US officials for aiding and abetting Israel in the commission of genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
The action is historic and unprecedented. US citizens, acting as taxpayers whose money has financed the weapons and the political cover, are placing the highest officials of their own government before the Court that was created to prosecute the gravest crimes when national systems refuse to act.
The submission rests on nearly a year of work by individuals and organizations now organized as the Taxpayer Alliance Against Genocide (TAAG). It includes sworn affidavits from doctors who worked in Gaza, firsthand eyewitness accounts, whistleblower testimony, videos, and extensive documentation of US political, military, diplomatic, and financial support. The delivery follows a federal court victory that protected TAAG’s First Amendment right to share that evidence with the Court, after the Trump administration had moved to block cooperation with the ICC through sanctions and executive order.

It’s hard to grasp the BBC’s systematic attempt to launder Israeli propaganda until you see the sheer scale of it. Here's a compilation of them doing it at 2x speed.
The latest was on Newsnight on 4 November. When Bernie Sanders called Israel’s government extremist, Victoria Derbyshire answered for it: “And the Israeli government would deny that they are extremists.”
As this video shows, BBC presenters repeatedly do this as guests describe Israel’s crimes: “Israel would say.” “Israel would deny.” “They would reject that.”
We counted 70 of these denials and justifications in 52 aired interviews. The BBC calls this impartiality. But in not one of those 52 did a presenter raise any of these words from Israel’s own leaders:
- “We are fighting human animals.” Yoav Gallant, 9 October 2023
- “It is an entire nation out there that is responsible.” Isaac Herzog, 12 October 2023
- “They will not receive a drop of water or a single battery until they leave the world.” Israel Katz, 13 October 2023
- “Remember what Amalek did to you.” Benjamin Netanyahu, 3 November 2023
- Starving two million people in Gaza until the hostages came back might be “justified and moral”. Bezalel Smotrich, 5 August 2024
On 10 October 2023, Tahani Mustafa told the BBC that Israeli forces were not distinguishing civilians from fighters. The presenter replied: “They would reject that.” Mustafa then had to bring up Gallant’s “human animals” herself. The BBC supplied the denial. The guest had to supply Israel’s own words.
That is cherry-picking. The Royal Charter requires the BBC to be impartial, and the public pays for it through the licence fee. In these interviews, it handed its audience Israel’s denials and left out its leaders’ own words, during a genocide streamed live to the world.
We have archived the BBC’s coverage for three years, and we are now counting all of it: 50,000 video clips and many more written excerpts.
We are calling this first part: "BBC: The Would Say Files".
Handing Israel its denials is only one of the ways the BBC launders Israeli propaganda, so we will count every other technique too. Over the next few weeks, we will announce each milestone as we complete the report.
These are the first results, with every clip, quote and source: newscord.org/editorials/bbc-…
