It was an absolutely great privilege to moderate the second panel session in Tunis on the Legal Implications of the @GazaFFlotilla @gbsumudflotilla and Gaza blockade earlier today. Here I introduce the @JoBluen as the first of a great panel of speakers
Earlier we heard from @FranceskAlbs. Thanks go to @wolasorg @hsyn_eleutheron for their great work in support of the flotilla!

"Carpet bomb them all".
Speaking to The Guardian at an event ahead of Israel’s elections, a young Israeli woman called for Palestinians to be forcibly displaced from the Gaza Strip, saying they should be killed if they cannot be removed.

Hi @ShahrarAli
I am a Jewish Green
@BoardofDeputies do not represent most British Jews. They act as a lobby group for Israel
You may agree or disagree with the Zionism is racism motion (I agree) but it NOT racist to attack a political ideology
What IS racist is to support & enable the GENOCIDE of people BECAUSE they are Palestinian

Do not let the passing days make us forget Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, the physician who continued fulfilling his humanitarian duty in Gaza amid war and danger, refusing to abandon his patients despite the pain and threats surrounding him.
Hussam Abu Safiya is not just a name that appeared in the news. He is the story of a doctor who chose to stand by his people when staying meant risking his life.
Do not forget him. Do not let his case fade into silence. Keep demanding his freedom. Behind this name is a human being who deserves to remain in our conscience until the day he is free.

Breaking News
Israeli military drone has bombed the Islamic University of Gaza, killing female student and injuring 17 others..
I’d like to thank the many Palestinian friends who have been so supportive to my family over recent weeks. Whether it’s actually physically helping at my wife’s burial, to messages and phone calls checking on us, to inviting us to their homes, to giving lifts, to sending food. Today’s homemade Palestinian felafel was just perfect. And the Gazan kunafeh (different to Nablus style) was a treat!
Yet we can’t even criticize this Zionist action.

I guess it wasnt about Hamas or the hostages after all, but always about ethnic cleansing. Who’d have known!!

The UN found Israel killed 35 Palestinian kids during the 2018 Gaza protests. At the time @lisanandy asked how the govt could continue justifying arms sales to Israel
For 2yrs Nandys been part of a govt thats armed Israel while its killed tens of thousands of Palestinian kids

Hi @ShahrarAli
I am a Jewish Green
The Green motion called for EQUAL RIGHTS for Israeli Jews and Palestinians - an end to brutal military occupations and an end to the system of apartheid, which Mandela & Tutu said was far worse than that in South Africa
Why do you object?
Israeli terrorist forces are bombing the West Bank.
When will the rest of the world bomb these terrorist forces? How can they be allowed to keep bombing the Middle East and massacring hundreds of thousands of people at will decade after decade? Time to stop them.

Manchester Saturday: Zionism is the ideological belief that Israel should have a homeland by ethnically cleansing Palestinians from Palestine. They stole a whole country in 1948, violently and brutally stole 79% of the land to create Israel, then in the decades since occupied and forced out as many Palestinians as they could from the last part of the land remaining in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Zionism is what zionism does.
Ask yourself one question. What does Zionism mean to the Palestinians living in Palestine? The answer is the last episode of Zionism - the abominable genocide in Gaza, destroying 90% of the houses and schools, bombing all 36 hospitals in Gaza, murdering over 1000 medics, and killing over 20,000 children, with many more tens of thousands left under the rubble. Zionism can only be described as what it is in practice - Israel's ethnic cleansing and genocide of the Palestinian people and shame on all those here in Britain who turn their backs on the Palestinians and pretend it was ever anything else.
Why did Starmer appoint him as a Home Office minister? What was he good at?
Mike Tapp: 'Zionism isn't ethnic cleansing!'
Shehab Khan: 'So why can a Jewish guy in London get Israeli citizenship but a displaced Palestinian can't?'
Mike Tapp: '...I didn't know that. That doesn't sound equal to me.'
The absolute intellectual collapse. He spent whole time defending the ideology, only to admit he doesn't know how it actually works on the ground
Please say Hi to Shareef from Gaza. @Ahmadtalks2 will pass on your greetings.
I swear he sounds like Nigel Farage!
Last week I went on an amateur YouTube channel to discuss a number of issues , including Israel Palestine.
They kept making a big fuss, saying to me: “we don’t edit and always show the whole interview”.
Unfortunately that was very creative with the truth. They edited what on their own could be controversial comments - released them - and kept the full interview behind a paywall.
This sort of behaviour is a part of the problem.
To be clear: I only need to talk to Jewish people about whether something is antisemitic.
If you have the chance to watch the full interview (don’t pay, hopefully they will release it) you will see me repeatedly calling for peace, a two state solution and equality for all. And you will see why I have referred the Green Party to the EHRC - the motion itself is a part of that reason.
UAE wants to FIFA the UN.
I've spent much of my life in and around the @UN. What stays with me most is its people: colleagues who, in the world's hardest places, deliver food and medicine, protect civilians and help parties take the first steps towards peace.
The UN was never meant to agree with the world. It was built to help the world agree. This UN Day, I remain confident in what the United Nations can achieve - and in the future we can build when it acts early, supports its personnel, and measures success by what changes on the ground. #UNDay
