Respect to Emery and the job he does at clubs like Villa, Sevilla, etc but he’s the worst manager I’ve ever seen at Arsenal - his style etc doesn’t work at a top club, and Arteta simply making one UCL semi-final surpasses anything he’s archived at the Europa League level.

Unai Emery has had 17 consecutive years competing in Europe. Five Europa League titles. No manager - no manager - has better pedigree in the Premier League. He is someone who will maximise players’ talents if they are willing to give themselves to him. There is a reason the club have long pined for Emery to create a dynasty, beyond his existing terms — which run until 2029. He is the best coach Villa could possibly wish for, and the best in the Premier League. @TheAthleticFC #AVFC nytimes.com/athletic/7720174…

Unai Emery, the Premier League’s best coach (Gift Article)

It was evocative. It was emotional. It was Emery’s Villa at their most enthralling. With this coach, Villa fans are living in the glory days

No one is saying Scott Parker is a better manager than Rafa Benitez, because Scott Parker won the championship. It’s all click bait nonsense.

Premier League execs and media voices tried so hard to push “Man Utd are back” agendas that they literally just lied to give Fernandes the 21st assist of last season, after a clear own goal. It’s was always, all, nonsense. 1 game a week nonsense.

After 8 games played, Arsenal are: 14 Points in front of Man United. 21 Points in front of Man City. 6 Points in front of Liverpool. 8 Points in front of Chelsea. 12 Points in front of Spurs. The Arsenal “unwatchables” are running away with it again, No.15 loading.

I'd feel bad for Man Utd but whenever I remember Gary Neville always talking sh.t about Arsenal, Evra calling us Netflix FC, van Der Sar saying Raya isn't a top goalie, & the onfield injustice Wenger faced over the years, I just keep wishing for their continued downfall.

I think United should consider an interim manager next. Just let everything calm down a bit. Why not a former player? They would know the club inside out. It's got to be an advantage. And if they do ok, why not give them the gig full time next summer?

I swear the pain United are going through right now is not enough. Let them suffer even more.

Steve Holland is assistant head coach at United. He can absolutely hold that after the Ben White treatment

The recruitment has taken a battering at Manchester United over the last 10 years & rightly so…. But we need to shout out… Ayden Heaven - £1m 😱 Still lots to learn but called upon once again & delivered!

Everyone in the comments spamming ‘Rooney’ Arteta says ‘at THIS level’. Everton were 7th, no European football, went out both domestic cups first game. Title winning, CL ko football, cup finals is a little different level to ‘7th’. There’s a reason he says ‘at this level’.
