Dont get me wrong. Theyโ€™re good. They just havenโ€™t beaten anyone with half a pulse.

Or maybe, just maybe, you have a heavily biased view of what UNM has actually accomplished. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Yep. Thats it. Have you found a way to isolate how distance effects HFA?

Itโ€™s essentially been a steady rise since 2020 (with the exception of โ€˜21). Whatโ€™s your guess as to why?

If they would have won 1 of the 2 games, theyโ€™d be the clear cut favorites right despite the weak schedule since then.

Oregon State fans, I mean this with all respect because I think OSU is a good team, but get a grip with reality. You have beaten power- rated teams #103, 122, 127, 138, and FCS. A large % of FBS teams would be expected to have the same record as you against that schedule.

Boise State leads the updated G6 rรฉsumรฉ rankings, with James Madison and UTSA right behind. Margin of victory is now built into the Maven model, so dominant wins matter more than before. Whoโ€™s too high? Whoโ€™s too low? #CollegeFootball #G6

I take that back. CSU jumped to 103, so their wins are 103, 122, 127, and 138. The majority of teams in the FBS would more than likely have the same record as Oregon State against that schedule.

They havenโ€™t beat anyone that power rates inside of the top 110. Their best win is Colorado State. The only argument that OSU fans have made is โ€œwell, we lost games against good teams.โ€ Those two losses are the only thing that is saving them from being further down the list.

They are 46th in my power ratings, which is roughly what other peopleโ€™s models have them at. That makes the 7th most underachieving team in the country according to my data.

Yeah, I donโ€™t have game control or anything like that it in. Thatโ€™s something that I might could add. I also have capped MoV at 30. I decided to do it because it doesnโ€™t make sense that losing by 2 and losing by 60 against a top 5 team should count the same.
