A biopic doesn't have to be like this. PRIMETIME is really a biopic and whatever else it is, it's not this. And the best Old Hollywood biopics were not this; look at YOUNG MR. LINCOLN or GENTLEMAN JIM. But biopics *about* Old Hollywood seem to get a minimal amount of imagination.
