We are mobilising Belarusians across Europe to help Ukraine withstand Russia’s winter assault.
Belarusian democratic forces have joined international fundraising and aid campaigns to help keep Ukrainian homes warm and hospitals running.
Our volunteers and communities will raise funds, collect supplies and deliver assistance.
Russia is intensifying its attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Putin wants millions of Ukrainians to spend another winter in darkness and cold. He is counting on their suffering and our fatigue.
We must not let him succeed.
I call on our partners, governments, businesses and everyone who can help to act now.
Ukraine needs stronger air defence, generators, mobile boilers and heating equipment. We cannot wait until hospitals lose power and families are freezing. Every delayed delivery can cost lives.
We have stood with Ukraine from the very beginning, and we will continue to do so.
Because Ukraine’s victory is also our hope for a free Belarus.

🇺🇦🕯️In Lviv, hundreds of lamps illuminated the graves of fallen defenders of Ukraine
On the eve of All Saints' Day, memorial lights were simultaneously lit on four fields of Honorable Burials, the Lviv City Council reported.
The lamps were lit at the Lychakiv and Holoskiv cemeteries, where Ukrainian soldiers who gave their lives for the independence of the state rest.

Latvia has just assumed the Presidency of the United Nations Security Council for the first time.
On this day in 1919, Latvian Colonel Krišjānis Berķis signed the order to launch a counteroffensive against German-Russian forces.
After liberating Riga, Latvian forces went on to achieve full victory in the Latvian War of Independence, securing the sovereignty of their young republic in international law.
107 years later, this now enables Latvia to take a world leading role in standing up for the sovereign rights of all nations to exist in peace and security under international law.
