Canada has racists, for sure. But all the anti-immigration rhetoric we've been inundated with is a misinformation campaign that began under @stephenharper's direction.
Mainly it's not real Canadians demanding we end immigration, but foreign White supremacist/zionist influencers.

NATO bombed Serbian tobacco factories in 1999.
Sounds strange. Why bomb tobacco? Not military targets. Not critical infrastructure. Just factories making cigarettes.
Then Philip Morris showed up. Rebuilt those same facilities. Modernized the equipment. Brought them up to international production standards.
Today you can buy cigarettes made in Serbia under Philip Morris brands in Australia, Europe, everywhere. Serbia became a major exporter.
So let's think about this. NATO bombs the factories. Philip Morris rebuilds them and profits from the production capacity.
Who benefited from that bombing?
Same pattern with Microsoft. Right after the bombing stopped, big Microsoft headquarters opens in Belgrade city center. I remember walking past that building and seeing their logo up there. Didn't take long.
The bombing was illegal under international law. That's not opinion. No UN Security Council approval. Violated the NATO charter itself. But they did it anyway.
Then Western corporations moved in while the rubble was still being cleared.
I lived through it. I watched it happen. And 25 years later I'm still asking the same question: who were they really fighting for?

C'est un développement extrêmement dangereux, qui révèle une fracture profonde entre l'institution militaire et sécuritaire et la direction politique en Israël. Et peut-être pour la première fois dans son histoire, le désaccord atteint le point d'une rébellion ouverte du chef d'état-major contre les ordres directs du Premier ministre !
Et peut-être que la raison est que Zamir et la direction de l'armée sont arrivés à la conviction que Netanyahou veut lancer une guerre contre l'Iran pour servir ses intérêts électoraux, et non pour des considérations militaires ou sécuritaires.
C'est un coup dévastateur pour Netanyahou, qui pourrait créer une fissure sans précédent au sein des institutions de l'État israélien, et peut-être même annoncer un coup d'État militaire contre Netanyahou lui-même.
Je n'exagère pas ici. Ce qui se passe, si ces détails sont avérés, pourrait être l'une des crises les plus dangereuses entre l'armée et la direction politique depuis la fondation d'Israël.

On question 8 of Alberta’s referendum 58% of respondents voted that they do not want Canadian provincial governments to amend the constitution to opt out of federal programs ie healthcare, education and social services.
UCP has previously announced that they intended to leave the federal Canadian dental program by 2026.
The UCP also rejected participation in Canada’s national pharmacare program.
Danielle Smith is already taking the liberty to interpret what individuals intended when they placed their referendum votes and is planning to pass a law requiring proof of citizenship at Alberta’s next provincial election.
Albertans now need to demand that Danielle Smith @ABDanielleSmith pass a law that Albertans can access all federal programs in healthcare, education, and social services.
Qualifying Albertans should be able to access the federal dental program as well as the national pharmacare program.

State minimum wage is $14/hour. He's at $15.
40 hours a week = $600/week
That's about $2,600/month before taxes.
Florida has no state income tax the thing they sell you on. So after federal and FICA he takes home roughly $2,200.
Average one-bedroom in our area runs about $1,600.
That's 73% of his entire paycheck gone to rent before he eats a single meal.
Leaves him around $600 a month for:
- groceries
- gas
- car insurance
- health insurance
- phone
- emergencies
- savings
Car insurance alone eats a third of that in this state.
He works 40 hours a week and cannot save a dollar. Not because he's careless because there's nothing left to be careless with.
I spent thirty years paying off a house here. He's doing the same job I did at his age and he can't afford a one-bedroom.
That's not a discipline problem. That's not avocado toast.
The floor moved and nobody lowered the ceiling.
Working full time should cover a roof. In Florida it barely covers the rent on one.
