I greatly enjoyed the conversation with Lucas @MethodMinistry and am glad we can share it with others.
What makes someone leave the CREC for Eastern Orthodoxy? My conversation with @Jeff_Palouse is out now! Jeff converted in 2019 and walks through what led up to that decision. We then dig into our disagreements, and he was gracious the whole way. Worth watching if you care about why these differences actually matter. Watch here 👇 youtu.be/eiqPLYSwn_w?si=HlN0…

This was the moment that shocked me! Craig Truglia claims that Galatians 3:1 teaches icon veneration! @HwsEleutheroi did a good job pressing him by showing his inconsistency on this verse. Truglia’s position is truly a twisting of Scripture 👇 youtu.be/Qd3uzKlG53Q?is=WMlE…

“When the strict particularist speaks of the infinite value of Christ’s death for the non-elect, they have only in mind what could have been if Christ had in fact died for their sins. The infinite value has no bearing upon their sin problem, because the infinite value doesn’t extend to it. It could have, but it didn’t. It’s hypothetical.” — Austin C. Brown, A Boisterously Reformed Polemic Against Limited Atonement (Pensacola, FL: Austin C. Brown, 2022), 9.

If I was an Eastern Orthodox, after watching that debate, even I would admit that Craig lost. And don’t even get me started on his wacky interpretation of Galatians 3:1. youtu.be/C2wqDyAB5Pc?is=jbIu…

I’m sorry, but I still appreciate James Lindsay and always will. To the extent that he appears paranoid, it’s because we are in an environment of paranoia induced by Machiavellian infiltrators who lie about their beliefs and intentions. It’s John Carpenter’s ‘The Thing’ playing out in the movement. He knows that I think he can be too trigger-happy and make enemies unnecessarily, but everyone has an important role in this movement. Some of us are coalition builders, and some are here to sniff out infection. And there is a real infection taking root. I do believe there is a very dark, anti-Christ, anti-American movement trying to take over the Right. Much of it has weird crossover with Claremont, for some reason. It has infiltrated even the beloved Federalist. Sean Davis in particular seems to have lost all hope in God and in our American way. The whole network behaves like a cult. Many of its favored political philosophers, from Schmitt to Evola, are Nazis or occultists themselves. They are Machiavellian in their methods. They are elitists in the worst way. Now, I have no problem with these people voting with me; any help in defeating the Left is welcome. But I don’t want them defining the American Right, because I firmly believe they are antithetical to everything the American Right should stand for. And they will destroy the American Right. And I'm not saying everyone in this network is bad; in fact, I think most of them are good, well-meaning people, and many of them are simply defending their friends against “James the belligerent pugilist” on the internet. I know many of them, and I know they aren't villains. And I know Lindsay's way sometimes has the effect of pushing away the good people who could be won over. Right now, it feels like Invasion of the Body Snatchers or John Carpenter's 'The Thing'. People we know, love, and respect keep getting taken over. These esoteric political philosophers have real power. Carl Schmitt in particular has a darkly spiritual way of rewiring people's brains. Invasion of the Body Snatchers was originally conceived as an allegory for Communist infiltration. When one of the few remaining humans is saying, "your neighbor is really an alien!" of course, that person will look crazy. Machiavellians create an environment of paranoia, which sometimes leads to innocent people being accused of getting "taken over." They count on that, because it helps them discredit the one person who is on to them. But that doesn't change the fact that people like James Lindsay are onto something here, and I wish good people on the Right would engage with it seriously instead of circling the wagons as if this were some high school clique. Pray urgently for our nation and for the movement to save it.
“The idea that Kennan was some proto-groyper secret handshake Jew-hating link tying us all together is the fever dream of a malicious lunatic.” —Michael Anton, @theammind

I would actually say we agree more than we disagree. I just had to make sure to clarify Lucas' position so no one thinks he was siding with a hairy tick. You're welcome, Dr. Curcio.
Last night @jerry_duck48985 made a response video to my video on Baptism expressing his disagreements, and guess what?? We’re still cool! It turns out, Christians can disagree and still maintain unity in Christ! Unless you’re a provisionist that is. Then you gotta make personal attacks and scream like liberals that it’s hate speech! .@calvinrobinson hardest hit. By Dale’s own logic, the black, devout Anglican “father” he platforms falls into the very category he would distrust for his kin. So is NXR going to cut Calvin, or continue platforming an “85 IQ” black Anglican? For what purpose? According to Dale’s own argument, Calvin’s supposed IQ deficit compromises his moral judgment. Why should we trust anything that Calvin says when Dale wouldn’t for his own daughter? Surely there is consistency within @nxrstudios? Mark and avoid these reprobate wolves and anyone who associates with them, including Calvin.
Christian nationalist pastor Dale Partridge won't let his daughter marry a devout Christian black man because he says it'll result in lower IQs for his descendants: "Before you decide that I'm crazy, just remember that our Christian forefathers treated interracial marriage as illegal." peoplefor.org/rightwingwatch…

Responding to Ryan Hemelaar’s ( @needGod_net ) recent conversation on whether baptism saves. His main objection is that this view denies sola fide. It doesn’t. Classical Protestant theology held both: baptism as the means by which forgiveness and union with Christ are received, and justification by faith alone. Wesley, Luther, and the early Reformed confessions did not treat “baptism now saves you” (1 Peter 3:21) as a Roman Catholic leftover. New episode walks through his objections and the texts. If everyone just listened to Charles Wesley all the time none of this would even be an issue 😏
If your church rejects music from Hillsong and Bethel, What do you do with cult leader Horatio Spafford, writer of It Is Well With My Soul, And antisemite Martin Luther, writer of A Mighty Fortress Is Our God?

If John Wesley’s diaries are remotely accurate, the man had an apostolic ministry. Evangelizing unreached peoples, turning Americans & Brits, slandered & stoned (literally), miraculously preserved in mobs, sent before authorities, heard in healing prayers…
