Each day for 40 days, the disciples were able to predict and test that Jesus really rose from the dead from what they saw each of those days with his presence. This would have been the sufficient empirical evidence they would need to endure the hardship that did come their way.

Have you ever heard anyone actually read John 3:16 like this? “For God so loved some selected people out of the world of fallen humanity, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever He first regenerates from among those selected few will believe in Him, and shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” No? 😂 Neither have I. Yet, I kid you not, I have met people who will read: “For God so loved the world…” and explain world until it somehow means not really the world; read: “whosoever believeth…” and explain whosoever until the decisive idea becomes whosoever was first secretly regenerated so that he could believe; and then somehow hand John 3:16 back to you as though nothing happened to the sentence. 😭😂 At some point you have to ask: Why doesn’t the verse simply say all of that? Thank God His love is greater than any theological system that attempts to squeeze it into something smaller. God loved the world. Christ was given for the world. And that love is real even toward those who reject Him. The tragedy of unbelief is not that God never loved them; it is that Light came into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light (John 3:19). Read John 3:16 again. Slowly. And this time, let John finish his own sentence. 😂 Have a beautiful and blessed month friends. ❤️

Faith is our responsibility. Jesus died for every single person without exception. There is hope for every single person.

Calvinist: “You have as much control over your first birth as you do your new birth!” If a baby isn’t born due to still birth or abortion do Calvinists hold them responsible for not being born? Calvinist: “Of course not!” Why not? Calvinist: “Because they didn’t have anything to do with that, obviously!” Then on what basis do you hold the unbelievers responsible for not being born again? Calvinist: You don’t understand Calvinism!

Well said. Faith is something we do. Faith is not a work. Both are true at the same time.
This is an argument within Reformed Theology, and drawing on R. C. Sproul no less, to refute the idea that our faith in Christ—our acceptance of the free gift of salvation—is somehow a “work” that undermines God’s complete sovereignty over salvation.

It’s the year of our Lord 2026 and we still have people who claim to be “pro-choice Christians.” To me this is like claiming to be a Christian porn star.

Listen to the blasphemous garbage coming from Free Grace teacher Ralph "Yankee" Arnold below. More and more people who identify as Christ followers swallow this stuff every day.

"God works all things according to His will" is not the same as "God unconditionally decreed all things." One statement comes from Paul. The other comes from Calvinism. The debate isn't over what Eph. 1:11 says. It's over what Calvinism inserts into it, @ronhenzel.

‘Works’ will never justify us before God. But, ‘works’ are part of what faith is. These two things, can be true at the same time. If I’m not living and working for Jesus and his kingdom, then I’m not really putting my faith in Jesus.

As long as we understand that faith necessarily includes works, then one can say faith alone. Faith without works is dead. James 2 The only thing that counts is a faith that works. Galatians 5 Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord’ and not do what I say? Luke 6:46
IMPORTANT QUESTION: Is salvation by faith alone, or by faith plus works?

QUESTIONS: Are humans responsible in any form, to being right with God? And why do you think that? -I ask this because I know of christians who will say Yes and some who will say No to this. -I would like to know your reasons.

I don’t think Piper is a heretic. He’s just really wrong about limited atonement.
Piper is a heretic. His description of Christ's atonement is utter nonsense.

Those IN CHRIST are PREDESTINED to become Holy, like Christ (Rm 8/Eph 1) Paul NEVER says some are predestined to be IN CHRIST!

The brutal attacks in Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of the Congo by terrorist groups are the latest reminder of a grim reality: Christians are being slaughtered for their faith, and the world barely notices. Christians are among the most persecuted religious communities on the planet. Churches are burned, families are driven from their homes, and lives are taken in the most horrific ways. Yet too often, this violence is ignored, minimized, or waved away as though the suffering of millions of believers does not matter. This double standard is unacceptable. Canada must refuse to remain silent. We must stand clearly with persecuted Christians, press our allies to act, and ensure that the right to worship freely is defended everywhere. The world must end its indifference. The suffering of Christians can no longer be dismissed.

In other words, you accept the irrational. But non-Calvinists do not need to because reconciling these two things in our mind is easy. We do not assume, as do Calvinists, that "God's sovereignty" means He causally determines everything. No tension for us.

This isn’t a contradiction. It’s a correction to two errors: – Paul rebuked those who trusted tradition but disobeyed God – James rebuked those who claimed belief but lived in sin Faith that doesn’t obey is dead.

Any thoughts on this?
Because the psychiatric industry and Big Pharma have lied to people and told them that depression is simply a “chemical imbalance” which can be fixed with drugs. This has been proven false and debunked a million times but the public clings to the myth because at this point we are religiously devoted to the idea that our mental states are totally out of our control and every negative emotion or thought is the product of a disease. That’s why.

You must believe in (trust, follow, obey) Jesus the Christ as Lord.
What are the essential doctrines of the Christian faith? What must you believe in order to be a Christian?
