A fun extra tidbit with @Mich_Smith20 delayed #nitrogen application on #sorghum is being able to document the impact N availability have on sorghum heading. Right of line had N early, left just received N recently. Cool work Mick.

Seemed way to cold for the job today but we wrapped up our #sorghum planting season. @Mich_Smith20 planted her last to locations which are looking at how long can N be delayed and fully catch up. Along with a N source X timing study.

2019 Summer crop trials have been a "challenge". But what we have is really cool. In this study Michaela is looking at how long can #Nitrogen application be delayed in #Sorghum. N is applied every 7 days to a trt until mid bloom. Yield, protein and starch will be evaluated.

It's been wet enough here even the corn took up drinking. Grew right up thru opening in can. Note corn is a Busch Light fan.
