Excited that my student Yao's first 1st author paper is now published. Check out his new work on 3-D printing aerosol cyclones w/Derek Goderis (MSU)! @MichiganChem 3D printed micro-cyclones with improved geometries for low-cost aerosol size separation tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.…

¿Qué tanto apreciamos y cuidamos nuestro planeta? El Amazonas, además de ser el pulmón del mundo, es una gran fuente de biodiversidad y agua. Sin embargo, la deforestación y los incendios son una gran amenaza. ¿Podrá sobrevivir el Amazonas al cambio climático? #hilandociencia2024

Our work on measuring the surprisingly slow ion desolavation from an electrolyte near an interface is just published. Yes. The doubly charged Zn ions adsorb slower than the snail shown in the graphic! Congratulations to @AnweshaMaitra4 and Anuj. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs…

This is why I also love my 8511. Blocks most of my face from the sun!
There are many reasons for a face covering outdoors and indoors. One reason I don’t see discussed much is sun protection. For example, I can’t wear sunscreen so rely on covering up completely to prevent sun damage. Just another reason for mask advocacy, indoors and out.

The Mountain West has won more games than the SEC. Yet, the narrative is that the MWC is blowing it.
SEC is 1-5 in NCAA Tourney despite being higher seeded team in all 6 games SEC teams have lost to: No. 9 Michigan State No. 10 Colorado No. 11 Oregon No. 13 Yale No. 14 Oakland Only win vs. No. 15 St. Peter’s

The 2 Mountain West that were seeded decently win their games. The 4 that got screwed into double digit seeds lost to single digit seeds. Crazy how that works. Seeding isn’t EVERYTHING. But don’t ever tell me that seeding “doesn’t matter” ever again.

I’m excited to share a new publication out of my group in #ijerph! We found that metal concentrations in e-cigarette aerosol increase with more puffs & that Ni and Cr transfer directly to the aerosol from the heating coil. @csufcnsm doi.org/10.3390/ijerph191593…
