According to the New York Post, the US military is preparing for the possibility of a major conflict that could cripple power grids, disrupt supply chains, and threaten critical infrastructure on American soil.
Former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino is also urging Americans to take emergency preparedness warnings seriously.
“Get your stuff today. Please. Do it for your family,” Bongino warned.
The reports highlight growing concerns about how a major conflict could affect everyday life far beyond the battlefield. Power, communications, transport, and supply chains could all face serious disruption during a major emergency.

According to Reuters, China's AI-heavy STAR50 index has crashed 40% since July.

Netanyahu has privately promised U.S. and European officials that he would drop Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich if it meant forming a more moderate coalition, and has argued to Washington that he is the best Israeli partner to resume the war against Iran.

BREAKING: The UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry has concluded that Israel has committed war crimes and crimes against humanity, including extermination, persecution, torture, rape and other forms of sexual violence, across the Occupied Palestinian Territory, while continuing the genocide in Gaza.
In today's report, the commission found that Israeli military operations and settler violence in the occupied West Bank have formed part of a widespread and systematic campaign against Palestinian civilians since October 7, 2023.
The report also accused Israeli forces of deliberately targeting Palestinian children, using sexual violence to intimidate and displace communities, and expanding territorial control through forced displacement. More than 34,000 Palestinians remained displaced in the West Bank as of August 2026.
In Gaza, investigators concluded that Israeli forces continued committing genocidal acts despite the ceasefire agreement, including killing and injuring civilians near the so-called Yellow Line.
The commission also criticized the Palestinian Authority for suppressing dissent and failing to investigate abuses by its security forces.
It called on Israel to end its occupation, dismantle settlements and return confiscated Palestinian land, while urging the Palestinian Authority to investigate violations and provide remedies to victims.
