UPDATE: the owner of Hope Pizza Place is now going car to car and giving stranded passengers pizza. He’s refusing any payment and handing out pizzas to those stuck in their cars due to the power usage and highway closures. True sense of community #bcstorm @CityNewsVAN #HopeBC – at Vancouver, British Columbia
A little bit of kindness goes a long way. The owners of Hope Pizza Place served hot tea and toast to those stuck in their cars due to power outages and mudslides closing the highway. @CityNewsVAN #BCStorm
