Well done to Harry Kane for winning the Ballon d'Or.
Huge congratulations to Bukayo Saka who won the Socrates Award for his incredible humanitarian work.
Bukayo sets an example to athletes everywhere by staying humble and helping others in need. We are all very proud of you.
Why did FRIDAY forget Spiderman? Spell didn't work on her and didn't Peter still have access to Stark tech before the spell?

With respect to my colleagues in the football writing industry, I am stunned that Bruno Fernandes has been named FWA Footballer of the Year instead of Declan Rice. Rice has literally won more matches this season (35) than Fernandes has even played (34).

The female #BallonDor has always been rubbish. The year Alessia Russo won the Champions League with Arsenal and also won the Euros with England, they gave a player who lost on both finals to Russo. 👎🏽

❤️👏 Alongside the charity BigShoe, Bukayo Saka has been making an incredible difference to the lives of people in need around the world. 🌍
▪️ 🇳🇬 Nigeria: Funded 120 life-changing operations for underprivileged children.
▪️ 🇲🇦 Morocco: Provided 50 homes to accommodate 84 families and 89 children affected by the earthquake.
▪️ 🇹🇷 Turkey: Funded accommodation for 26 families displaced by devastating earthquakes.
▪️ 🌍 Africa: Supported healthcare and medical screening programmes in Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania and Sierra Leone, alongside Antonio Rüdiger.
A footballer using his success to genuinely change lives beyond the pitch. Massive respect. ❤️
🚨 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟: Bukayo Saka has been awarded the 2026 Sócrates Award at the Ballon d'Or ceremony. 🏆🏴

Unai Simon has won the Men's Goalkeeper of the Year award for 2026.
He beat his compatriot, David Raya, to the prize thanks to his efforts with Spain at the World Cup.
But Simon made a total of nine saves in eight games, which — as a body of work — surely does not outshine Raya's season for Arsenal.
