there WILL be tests
and shit inevitably gets hard
but with a winners spirit and short term memory loss when it comes to setbacks
i’ve been blessed to succeed in whatever i truly try at🤲🏽

If you continue to find yourself feeling a sense of emptiness as you progress and hit goals remember this:
It’ll never be perfect. Not when you buy everything you wanted. Not when you live in your dream location with the freedom that you envisioned. And even not when you have the relationships and people in your life who you’re endlessly grateful for - although that’s often the best part.
Accept life as it is. You are where you are and there will always be more to gain. Stop creating an internal hell to give yourself the motivation to push forward. That cycle will go on as long as you allow it. It doesn’t matter if you have everything you want when you’re living in misery.
That’s not a win and it’s not why you started this. I’m not deterring you from pursuing your goals, but rather encouraging you to remember that the “golden days” start when you decide they do.
You’re will always be you no matter what. Enjoy it.

recent tweet of mine did pretty well and i gained some followers, but im just now realizing something crazy
out of the ~30 people who followed me last night, 2(!!!) actually post stuff that isn’t retweeting other peoples content
i wanted to connect with some people but i can’t because everyone is a loser
one of the best things i ever did in my life was switch from consuming content to creating it
start posting stuff and you’ll gain more opportunities than you’ll understand, you’ll meet more like-minded people than possible without putting yourself out there, AND you could end up making a whole bunch of money
you don’t even have to show yourself, just showcase what’s in your mind. anon accounts are some of the best and most interesting here
what are you afraid of? that karen from school might see your tweets?
your loss my friend

Your "cute" email designs are murdering your conversion rate.
Stop designing like it's Arts & Crafts and start focusing on copy.
Here's how to write emails that engage readers and SELL:
1. Write relevant content
90% of brands are doing 1 of 2 things: either spamming products/sales or writing content about random stuff that the customer doesn’t care about and will not read.
So how do you write relevant content?
Very simple.
You list out:
1) Why do your customers buy from you in the first place (what problem are you solving)
2) What are the most common objections noncustomers have to buying your product?
From now on, all of the content you write must be geared towards answering one of those two things, otherwise, it’s a waste of time.
For instance, if your customers buy your supplements because they contain only natural ingredients while most mainstream brands contain all this artificial sh*t like red40, then you want to send them content specifically about that.
2. Use this structure for sales emails: offer → supporting content → restate offer
Put the offer above the fold so that people reading on email have all the info they need to make a purchase decision without having to scroll, as most people don’t scroll through each email they read.
Below that on the 2nd scroll, give supporting content that does 1 of 2 things: 1) increases the perception of the brand (e.g. customer reviews, press mentions), 2) reduces their perceived risk of purchasing (giving money-back guarantee, free exchanges within 30 days etc.).
At the bottom, restate the offer for anyone who reads the whole thing to give them another opportunity to make a purchase.
We’ve tested pretty much every conceivable email structure and that is the one that consistently produces the most sales.

A post from @cardon popped up on my Instagram feed.
Loved their branding, so went ahead and reflected it through a welcome email redesign🔥

Most of the welcome emails I see during audits are product & sales-based emails.
But the main job of the welcome flow isn't to just sell but also to educate new subs & prime them to become customers in the future.
Always include educational content about the brand & USPs

I’m surprised at how low the bar is in email marketing, as a lot of brands are missing very foundational stuff.

Most creators?
Flying by the seat of their pants.
No system, no philosophy, just winging it.
They glance at the week, the day, and just... react.
Sound familiar?
Perspective's a game-changer.
Pretend today's the day you bought your own creator business.
Fresh start. You're the big investor now.
What's your first move?
How's an investor eyeing up your business?
They ain't about feelings; it's the ROI.
They've got money in the game, so what's the payoff looking like?
What numbers are they tracking?
Fast forward a year.
What are they expecting?
How are they judging your offer, your team, your leadership?
Spoiler: They ain't here to watch you work day in, day out. That's not the end game.
So, maybe, just maybe, it's time to see things from the money-side of the table.
And the money flows from your sales.
Alright, lean in, let's break this down.
There's a method to the madness – a 5-step process.
First step? It's all about the gap.
Yeah, the distance between where you're at right now and where you're itching to be.
Now, if everything's smooth sailing, if you're raking in the cash you aimed for, and clients are banging down your door?
Stop reading.
Because, you know, why mess with something that's working?
But given you're still here with me, I'm betting there's a gap.
And, just a hunch, it might be more like the Grand F***ing canyon.
No sweat.
Step one?
Pinpoint that gap. Define your finish line.
Where's that endgame for you?
Step 2 is getting your marketing foundations solid.
Let's cut through the fluff, shall we?
Every piece of marketing? It should scream its intent.
If someone's squinting at your content, unsure of what move to make next, you've missed the mark.
Are you funneling folks to your website?
Eager for a chat over the phone?
Or perhaps, dangling a lead magnet for them to snag?
Rarely, it's a direct call to purchase.
So, what's the game plan?
Here's the deal: Marketing's job?
It's persuading people – your prospects – to take action.
And once that's on lock?
Step Three, the marketing game, is like taking candy from a baby.
Ask yourself:
• Who's your crowd?
• Got a killer pitch for 'em?
• How're you making sure they hear it loud and clear?
Easy, right?
Now, the secret sauce?
That’s Step Four – Keeping Score.
“Numbers rule the universe” - Pythagoras
Think about it like sports. No scoreboard, no idea who's smashing it. The same goes for your marketing.
This is your roadmap to bridge that gap.
Miss this? You're wandering aimlessly.
Remember small hinges swing big doors.
Start by measuring these:
• Audience
• Leads
• Conversion Rate
• Average Order Value
• Average Order Frequency
Step Five, well, it’s not so much a "step" as it is the realization that perfection's a moving target.
The realization that today is the day you need to set aside time to start working ON your business and not IN it.
Start with 60 minutes per day.
There are 104 days left of 2023.
Do this now and you'll make 2024 the best year in your business.
Please like and comment if this was useful to you.
