Thanks Ian. I truly take no pleasure in being adversarial in saying these things. I just think someone has to try and change the tone from behind-the-curve lamentation to effective, front foot opposition.
I believe feminism - for all its professed militancy - is still characterised by the amenable nature of women and their tendency to create and police in-group narratives, use discussion and covert means to gradually alter the actions and politics of men, and lacks the instinct to take drastic measures and really finish off an enemy.
This can be effective on slow baked, progressive reform by consensus, but it is utterly useless in the face of a serious, malevolent enemy. Which is what we are facing.

It's nice of @Nigel_Farage to post support on Facebook for my case.
However, many of the comments are extraordinary. People are pontificating with no knowledge of the facts and relying on their ideological prejudices. That's the down side of social media.
In a nutshell, the facts are:
I was fired for not following New College Swindon's Gender Reassignment Policy.
Because I didn't follow this and did not submit to compelled speech I was accused of bullying and harassing Student A.
I was never given an instruction to follow the Gender Reassignment Policy by the college. That instruction came from another student, Student B.
I raised safeguarding concerns that were never properly considered because of the transgender affirmative philosophy of the college.
The Employment Tribunal never considered the issue or the legality of the policy - quite the reverse, they said it was not their concern.
The basis of my appeal is that the policy was illegal by demanding compliance to compelled speech and this fundamental issue was ignored by the Employment Tribunal, and so was an error in law.
Finally, it is important to child safeguarding that Labour lose the next election, and a government is formed that prohibits transgender indoctrination in schools, be that Conservative, Reform or Restore.
Thank you @Nigel_Farage for being explicit on this.

I have always thought you were one of the more thoughtful commentators on the left. So I’ll explain. Scruton is explaining his instinctual revulsion of violence. This is an excellent instinct to have. Instincts can sometimes be wrong and on further reflection an opinion can change but he was correct on this. Then Scruton said, “It was a lifetimes work to find out what the opposite is.”

Look at Bridget Phillipson's language here: a bill that 'allows people to be their true selves', to 'live openly and safely as themselves', that criminalises someone who tries to 'change who someone is'.
The Conversion Practices bill applies in the case of a child who says they're the opposite sex. Think about that.
Apply Phillipson's thinking to the parent of a four year-old boy who says 'mummy, I'm really a girl'.
Or to the parent of a teenage girl who is screaming 'I'm not your daughter I'm your son, you bigot!'
By trying to present the bill as completely reasonable 'common sense measures' Phillipson has only succeeded in exposing its ideological basis. Her language is pure trans activism.

It is worth reflecting further on the promised clarity 'about what the draft Bill does and doesn't do' because it reveals a fundamental problem with the conversion practices legislation as it applies to gender identity.
Bridget Phillipson's key argument is that 'being T+' does not need fixing. But in reality, 'being T+' involves many thousands of children with a host of mental health issues and other vulnerabilities, who reject their healthy body, experience escalating distress and seek unevidenced medical interventions.
That really does need fixing.
When T+ is defined simply as 'who someone is' or people just being 'their true selves', any appreciation that the identity itself could be a maladaptive response to a range of external factors is dismissed. Even worse, the unremarkable understanding that not all identities bring health or happiness is misrepresented as an abusive effort to 'change who someone is'. This is the kind of activist language that led to the chronic safeguarding failings at GIDS and at WellBN.
Under this framing, any denial of personal identity is seen as abhorrent: 'no one should be abused, shamed or threatened into denying who they are'. What is encouraged instead is affirmation of the 'true self' even if 'who they are' involves rejecting their own body.
So this is what the bill would achieve: special protection for an identity linked to unhappiness about the body, and criminalisation of alternative understandings because these could be 'intended to change who someone is'.
“A society which values freedom must protect everyone’s right to live openly and safely as themselves.”

Bridget Phillipson's assurance that 'refusing to accept a child's identity' will not be prosecutable under conversion practices legislation is contradicted by the bill itself, which says that 'psychological or emotional pressure' with the intention of changing 'transgender identity' could qualify as a criminal offence.
How can Phillipson know how a court will interpret 'refusing to accept a child's identity' given the vague and open-ended definitions in the bill?
An op-ed by a politician will be scant consolation when a parent is facing a criminal claim or a protection order that will destroy their relationship with their child.
And the question remains: what 'abuse' is the bill designed to tackle that is not already an offence in law?

Why didn’t you care about white working-class girls like me?
On Saturday, for the first time, I struggled to find my voice.
During the working-class debate at the Battle of Ideas, I stood up and introduced myself as a grooming gang campaigner. I wasn’t prepared to tell a room full of strangers my own story. In fact, until that moment, I don’t think I’d fully acknowledged it myself.
For years, I’ve spoken about my sister, the victims and survivors I’ve supported, and the failures that allowed grooming gangs to operate. But on Saturday, something hit me. I wasn’t just the sister of a victim. I had been part of that same environment.
When I was in care, there were cars, drugs, alcohol and men who repeatedly tried to groom me. I was fortunate. I was never raped. I resisted, partly because rugby meant everything to me and because, even as a child in care, I knew I wanted more for myself. I wanted to join the Army. I had ambitions.
Sadly, some of my friends weren’t so fortunate.
I wanted to ask a very simple question. Why is it that we constantly discuss race, class and oppression, yet when white working-class girls were being groomed, raped and exploited, so many people who now claim to champion the working class were silent?
Why didn’t you care about little girls like me?
And that’s where I struggled. I felt a lump in my throat, something I’m not accustomed to when speaking publicly. I was angry, frustrated and overwhelmed. I couldn’t finish what I wanted to say, so I sat down.
What I wasn’t expecting was the support. A group of gentlemen at the back applauded loudly, as did much of the room. To everyone who supported me, thank you. Especially the gentlemen at the back. I don’t know who you were, but your support meant more than you probably realised.
Later, those same gentlemen raised questions about ethnicity, Englishness and what it means to be English. There was some disagreement, which is perfectly healthy in a debate, but I was disappointed by how abruptly one of the panellists responded to those expressing pride in their identity.
We cannot spend hours discussing identity and belonging, only to make people feel they shouldn’t speak about their own.
So, to the gentlemen at the back, who I presume were Restore voters, whoever you are, please don’t allow anyone to silence you or make you feel ashamed of who you are.
I’m proud of where I come from, my working-class roots, my mixed heritage and my partly English ancestry. I see absolutely no reason why anyone should be made to feel guilty for being proud of being English and white.
Saturday reminded me that sometimes the very people being discussed in these debates are sitting right there in the audience.
Perhaps it’s time people stopped talking about us and started listening to us.
Clare Page : No Secret Lessons retweeted
At this point I am not even sure they got what the issue is. Sex is not a belief.
Cannot aggre more with @MForstater. Although I disagreed strongly with several panelists - esp the one who blames the Race Relations Act for the crisis in free speech....
Listening to @AkikoMHart from @libertyhq defend GC beliefs and place current conflicts in a human rights and civil rights framework made me feel v v happy.

Separating the LGB from TQ+ is not enough as we are forced to tolerate the right to found a family without reference to men and women.

I hope you will also be broaching that fetishists and paedophiles had significant control of the LGB rights movement itself from the very get go, and as a consequence, breaking down safeguarding has gone hand in hand with otherwise genuine attempts to liberalise and protect same sex attraction from bullying and unfair treatment?
Because without that acknowledgment, I can’t see how you will get anywhere. Even the application and repeal of s.28 needs revisiting to realise that whatever prejudices might have gone into it, it also had a subtext of protection from predators and radicals, which on removal has led to the flooding of schools with grooming.
Separating the LGB from TQ+ is not enough if the LGB movement doesn’t know how to keep its house in order wrt to predators, fetishists and Marxist ideologues.

Isn't it interesting that no-one at @SexMattersOrg, nor @LoudBonnet, who is getting ready for the Battle of Britain, is connecting the Conversion Practices Bill to the Puberty Blocker Trial, which they happily waived along at first, only to pretend to be shocked about after?
Oh there are big shifts alright… but it’s not on single sex spaces… the Govt is continuing to back a Puberty Blocker Trial whilst drafting a Conversion Practices Bill that will criminalise any parents, professionals or organisations that try to save kids from seriously harmful medical experimentation, whilst also enshrining non binary identities into law.
You’re still miles off piste @SexMattersOrg.
People only add pronouns to their email sign off to signal their membership of the Gender Identity cult. Belief in binary and immutable sex is not cult behaviour. Didn't @SexMattersOrg get binary and immutable sex classed as a protected philosophical belief not a material fact. Didn't Naomi want to move on from that strategic misstep?

If a child rejects their own body, that is a sign that something is wrong and they need help.
The draft conversion practices bill rides roughshod over that understanding.
The bill takes a personal identity that is inextricably linked to rejection of the body and defines it as something to be protected against change.
Distress and self-rejection are thus locked in, and child safeguarding is undermined.
Pre-legislative scrutiny of the draft bill gets underway on Monday 12 October. Two key questions for the committee are:
1. Why is legal protection being put in place for an aspect of personal identity so closely associated with distress about the body?
2. What abusive conduct that is not already unlawful will be prohibited under the proposed legislation?

My hearing in the Employment Appeals Tribunal is coming in 11 days.
I’m reading through the judgement again from the Employment Tribunal.
I struggle to believe how blatant child abuse by the college could have been so thoroughly supported by a court under Equality Act auspices.
The primary objective in the fight against the madness of transgenderism must be to protect children and that requires acknowledgment that our legal system is designed up to enable children to be harmed by the institutions of the state.
Perfect example of why GC feminist campaigning has been so unwise and ineffective… our supposedly conservative politicians now think ‘trans’ is an issue about winning ‘single sex spaces’ for ‘women and girls’.
It’s not. It is a child safeguarding scandal that is terrible for boys as well as girls, and it is part of a wider queer Marxist identity politics that is dangerous for democracy.
The Tories remain substantially off target and consequently are not picking the right strategies.
Clare Page : No Secret Lessons retweeted
Replying to @lara_e_brown
Whether LC is being tactical in her critique or not, I’m afraid this was still an inadequately wishy washy response from Badenoch in ‘22, and the end result of her and the Tories’ time in office by ‘24 has been completely inadequate wrt to keeping children safe from trans ideation. There is no getting away from that, even if she took a slightly better line than many of her deluded colleagues.
This matter was never a ‘debate’. She should not have been promising to uphold ‘trans rights’. Anyone who undertook the briefest of research on the evolution of the Equality Act should have seen it had clearly been constructed or infiltrated by queer Marxist radicals and was a danger to women, children and democracy.
And so choosing single sex spaces and the clarification of ‘Sex’ in the EA as the hill to die (according to Sex Matters unwise advice) was actually a huge distraction from the unfolding atrocity of our public services indoctrinating, mismedicating and even surgically mutilating children and young adults.
Halting legal self ID is hardly a great achievement when de facto self ID had already been installed in practice across the public services, including for children. The Keira Bell case had concluded by 2021. The atrocity of child gender medicine was on full show. The Tavistock was clearly a basket case. The press was full of evidence that the RSE and trans charities were staffed by predators and sex positive lunatics.
I’m sorry, I want to believe back then as much as anyone that in Badenoch we might have a strong future leader to solve this disastrous misstep in British history, but her words were not followed by deeds.
And now she is in charge, where is her promise to repeal gender laws, or at the very, very least, extract children from the PC of GR asap?
