Yeah believe it or not The Right has only been making great strides in improving quality of life for the average young American man these past 2 years. Yeah, price of goods has gone up but like you can say Retarded at work or something. Pretty good tradeoff

Man anybody else remember that one general who went completely fucking psycho from a decade ago?
Always love the ambiguous storytelling in Shaggy's case where he doesn't have a mugshot which means he either could have died in a shootout with feds or fucked off to Cuba
So many people are convinced that the Democratic Primary is going to be a spectacle.
They're not considering how much of a car crash the Republican Primary is likely to be.

Politico: Ted Cruz blasts JD Vance as “insecure,” says he’s focused on helping GOP win midterms
Sen. Ted Cruz fired back at JD Vance for suggesting he’s already focused on a 2028 presidential bid, calling the vice president “insecure”
“In my experience, people engage in political bomb-throwing when they’re feeling insecure,” Cruz said in a phone interview Saturday. “So he’s welcome to make whatever comments he likes. I’m going to keep focusing on the midterms and helping us win on Election Day in the next 30 days.”

I love when Trump fucks over his most devoted fans. It's so obvious he doesn't give a fuck about them.

Unnecessary cruelty for the convicted and the possibility of killing an innocent person are to me not even the worst aspects of the death penalty
It degrades society by turning us all into bloody savages and wastes our collective resources that should go to more legitimate use

Yes, to every bit of this. Trump 2.0 is what Trump 1.0 would have been if the actual adults in his first admin hadn’t had to babysit him. The myth that Trump was ever a good president economically or otherwise was always a lie.
Summary:
Trump is a terrible person who has no understanding whatsoever about public policy, government, history, law, the Constitution, foreign relations, or much of anything.
He won the 2016 Republican nomination in a fluke with a minority of Republican votes, probably because Kasich wouldn't bow out soon enough.
Unexpectedly even to him, he won the 2016 election with the thinnest of margins.
He agreed to House Republicans' (Kevin Brady's) already designed tax reform bill, based on long established conservative tax policy.
That bill strengthened the economy, particularly the corporate tax cut. The strong economy compensated for Trump's many other policy wrongs.
Covid wrecked the economy and showed Trump in an even worse light. In 2020 voters rejected Trump.
Biden worsened rather than improved the Covid economy through spending-driven inflation.
In 2024 voters returned to Trump because they wanted a return to the pre-Covid economy.
But Trump hasn't delivered on the economy because his policies are harmful to the economy. The people who designed the 2017 tax reform are gone, driven out of office or retiring in disgust.
What went right during Trump's first term was the doing of others, who understood policy and deterred him from his worst inclinations. No one like that was permitted influence in the second term.
Second term Trump is the real Trump, and the second term results are the real Trump results.

The Biafra War was not fucking real bro. This shit reads like a joke someone would make about 1960s mercenary warfare in Africa.

I’m so glad he’s a movie star because he would’ve made a very effective serial killer
Tom Cruise says it originally took six hours for the “Digger” hair and makeup team to apply his Digger Rockwell prosthetics, but he quickly made the process “more efficient” by showing up with a chalkboard and timing how long it took to put each prosthetic on:
“I had a guy there with a stopwatch and I’m like, ‘OK, you see that time, six hours? By the time we’re done, we’re going to get it under an hour.’ They were like, ‘No, I’m not doing that, it will never happen.’ I’m like, ‘OK, first of all, if you say no, you can’t do it, you will never get there. So can we agree that we’ll maybe make it a little less?’ So with each piece that was going on, it was timed and then we’d drill and practice.”
It worked, and they eventually got his makeup and prosthetics routine down to under an hour: “They were like, ‘What?!’ And they didn’t even know it, and they didn’t even rush. I like going into a system, studying it and trying to figure out how I can do it better, more efficient. The films that I make, I’m constantly going, how can I do it better?”
