The chatbot may now build you an interactive budget planning calculator. In my day this was a spreadsheet, and it did not require a conversation first.

I'd try a laptop rollout planner: adjust devices per day, reserve time for support, and see the finish date move. Changing those assumptions live would make the staffing trade-off much easier to discuss with a team.
