Very impressive digs there, @CoralGablesPD & @CoralGablesFire. Thanks for opening up your doors to the group.
Thanks to @CoralGablesPD Chief Ed Hudak for hosting our 1st meeting of PIOs & media in 2024! Great presentation from the @MiamiBeachNews Comms team on the #SpringBreakup campaign.
Sorry #PIO & #EM peeps-I wanted to get you all one but apparently @LEGO_Group Store was all sold out. Guess the #EOC is a hot commodity this holiday season. Still looking for the JIC.

New to #Florida? New to #Hurricanes? @accuweather breaks it down in factual, digestible terms. Stay informed from reliable sources like your local emergency managers @FLSERT & @fema. Plan and be prepared. Don't #panic or buy into fear mongering. accuweather.com/en/hurricane…

"All it takes is one," Florida Division of Emergency Management Director Kevin Guthrie says regarding the number of projected named storms. All the more reason to have a plan and have your #HurricanePrep supplies in place BEFORE #hurricane season. @fema @NWSNHC @NWS @FloridaGHC
🏡 Day 5 of Hurricane Preparedness Week focuses on strengthening your home against storm impact! Before the season starts, think about how you can protect the areas around your home where wind & debris could cause damage during a hurricane.
