Everyone can express their own opinion in a free society, even an idiotic one. It helps us know how dumb someone is. But calling for political violence against other Americans crosses a line that we shouldn't tolerate.
At an event with Kara Swisher, Scott Galloway called for the execution of Elon Musk for being a “traitor to the west” live on stage.

You're halfway through a presentation or a Zoom call, and your phone lights up. It's Mum's doctor. Or Dad's specialist. Once you start managing a parent's affairs, it doesn't stay in your personal life. It walks straight into your work life. Literally.

Your parent’s paperwork doesn’t stay at home. It interrupts your work day. I was talking to a friend the other day about the stress of having to start managing your parents affairs. He said, even though he was a successful businessman and he had the support and help of his sister, he still had to go to a therapist who said something profound “It’s OK”. That got me thinking about how, especially in the startup and corporate world where stress can be unforgiving, when that time comes, it doesn’t stay in your personal life. It walks straight into your work life. Literally. It happens mid-presentation. Your phone buzzes on a Zoom call and it’s your parent’s doctor. You’re now your parent’s parent, and this is only the beginning. You’ve got thirty problems that don’t connect. Federal and State departments that don’t talk to each other. And nobody warns you about the emotional toll. You find yourself snapping at friends, family and colleagues; completely out of character. Guess what? Of the 3 million Australians and roughly 1 in 10 New Zealanders who provide unpaid care, around two in three are also in paid work. Think about that for a second. Chances are one of your colleagues, or someone in your next meeting, is quietly doing the same. When managers and colleagues understand it, stepping out of a meeting to take that call, or looking a little stressed, doesn’t need explaining. That’s a big part of why I built Navikin (navikin.com). One checklist you can pick up in the gaps of a working day, with progress at a glance, reminders that go straight into your calendar, and every government contact in one place. If you’re juggling work and a parent’s affairs, remember “It’s OK.” Take time for your own mental health. Be kind to yourself.

A BRILLIANT POST SHARE IT EVERYWHERE Many years ago, Australia was a wonderfully relaxed place. A bit laid back, laconic even, and sure, we had political and religious differences with each other and there were some minor isolated racial tensions (Vietnamese crims, and Lebanese gangs etc) but on the whole, we mostly got along with each other. Kids gave as good as they got, teenagers were teenagers and young people made mixed racial marriages and had babies, precious babies. We had sporting heroes who did us proud and as a country, we punched above our weight around the world – in almost every endeavour. In 2007, we lost our way, when incivility raised its head as a result of the Rudd/Gillard Labor years. In late 2015, the Conservatives, after winning back government, then betrayed its supporters by backstabbing Tony Abbott and replacing him with Malcolm Turnbull, the most destructive, socialist Liberal leader in Australia’s history. This set the tone for where we are now. It’s one thing for a politician to be either a socialist or a conservative, we accept that and manage it, but when a Liberal Party Prime Minister pretends he is a conservative, but underneath is really a socialist, then his true character is revealed, and the damage has been done. His betrayal stung loyal conservatives and allowed Labor into government due to the fracturing of the Liberals. The blame for Labor destroying the country, started with that treachery. The reality is, that this country’s confidence has degenerated to its lowest point and is in dire straits; politically, socially, morally and economically. The Labor Party in power in 2026, is the most incompetent, inept, dishonest and immoral government we have ever experienced. Whitlam was a boy scout in comparison. The incompetence of this Labor government, and its Prime Ministers deliberate propensity, to deceive and lie to avoid any responsibility for anything tells you all you need to know. The first thing any decent elected governments duty is to protect its citizens. Rudd and Gillard allowed unfettered boat people. The Liberals after Abbott and then Labor since 2022, have failed miserably on border protection and wickedly, have betrayed us and left us weak, defenceless, and divided. Australia’s Diggers, its sportsmen and sportswomen, its creators, its inventors, its academic achievements, and hard-working citizens were admired around the world, yet today we are seen as second rate. Why? These last ten years of economic destruction, and moral sapping, social division; has been caused by two deceitful politicians – Malcolm Turnbull initially, and now Anthony Albanese. Morrison was just a bumbling fool. Australia today, is defenceless, and spiritless; we suffer from social disharmony, we are religiously and racially divided, we see hopelessness, and we are economically, socially and morally bankrupt. These past four and a half years, and all because of just one vulgar, deceitful and immoral person, since I refuse to describe him as a man, which demonstrably, he is not. Men do not behave like this grub. His total dishonesty and his vulgarity, earns him the distinction of being the most despised politician in Australia’s political and social history.

Support for the most radical censorship bill in the West is 100% fake, paid for by the corrupt @AlboMP and his billionaire backer, Twiggy Forrest, who takes hundreds of millions a year of taxpayer money. They’re desperate to censor critics who correctly point out that their policies put the financial interests of China ahead of the security and prosperity of the Australian people.
Australia bet big on hydrogen made from renewables and lost billions. Now, one of Australia's largest miners may soon cut production and jobs. The cause was a set of catastrophic decisions by Labor leaders and Fortescue's founder, Andrew "Twiggy" Forrest.

🚨 TRUMP JUST WENT THERE Trump posted a "Life Before Obama" checklist on Truth Social. ISIS, Black Lives Matter, Antifa, the Russia Hoax, expensive Obamacare, and TDS all made the list. The day after Obama got on stage to say he's "tired of being divided," Trump handed him the receipt. Obama started it. Trump is finishing it.

Recently watched an episode of the All In Pod E253 (youtube.com/watch?v=Uxi6LVKa…) I thought @friedberg outlined in layman terms why countries head towards socialism (go to 58:23) really well. TL,TR "Immigrants arrive expecting government support, (I would say here in Australia it's also Australian citizens. One is Centrelink aka the dole and the other is the NDIS) but government provision (help) is never sustainable and it lacks accountability, kills incentives, and prevents real economic progress or growth. The more government spends trying to provide things, the worse and less attainable those things become. People then demand even more spending as conditions deteriorate, creating a downward cycle. Socialism destroys progress by guaranteeing a floor while capping the upside; once incentives collapse, quality falls and discontent rises. France is an early warning; other Western countries (including Australia - I placed this in. He said "the US") risk following the same path if they don’t change course." @theallinpod

In politics, Im a centralist having voted for Hawke (Labour) & Howard (Liberal) & whether you agreed with their politics, both were strong leaders and they led with conviction. Even their deputies (Keating and Costello). Then we got Rudd/Gillard/Rudd & the Liberals let in Turnball. We then got Tony Abbot/Morrison (Liberals) but the rot in the Liberals had already set in. Now we have Albanese (Labour) & Taylor (Liberals) & people wonder why One Nation is surging. As Bob Hawke once said "The mob eventually will work you out".

Look, i get it when an MP, in this case Andrew Hastie (@TurnbullMalcolm light) abstaines from a vote but when the leader of any party, in this case @AngusTaylorMP does as well on such an important bill, the Duty of Care Bill then you're not a leader. You've cost @LiberalAus votes to @OneNationAus - another own goal 😏

🚨BREAKING: The world No. 1 in women's tennis, Aryna Sabalenka, unleashes a devastating and unfiltered statement: "It's vital to protect fairness. Biologically, men are much stronger than women. It's not fair. It's not equality. It's not women's sports if we let biological men compete against us." She sides with Sophie Cunningham and sends a clear message: women are not going to keep staying silent while they steal our titles, podiums, and opportunities from us.
