Well, well, well. Russia uses cluster munitions against Ukrainian civilians. That's because Putin is a "humanitarian". Or is it because he's a murdering, Nazi bastard? @SteveWitkoff @potus @thejointstaff @mfa_russia @KremlinRussia @KremlinRussia_E @RusEmbUSA @ZelenskyyUa @VP

Brexit cost an estimated £90 billion in lost tax revenue in 2025 alone. That money could have eased the tax burden on working people and funded our NHS and public services. I welcome the Prime Minister’s opening to Europe, but he must go further. Rejoining the single market and a customs union would bring growth and prosperity back to Britain. With war in Europe and an unpredictable White House, our security also depends on standing with our closest neighbours - cross-border problems need cross-border solutions.

I don't care what anyone says, I believe we can end rough sleeping in Britain. Today is World Homeless Day, and I don't think anyone in this country should be sleeping rough on our streets. Certainly not tonight. That's why one of the first commitments I made as Prime Minister was to end rough sleeping. Not manage it. Not reduce it. End it. And I'm putting over £400 million behind a national drive to get everyone in for Christmas. And to put my own money where my mouth is, I'm making my latest salary donation from my PM salary to The Passage in Victoria, an amazing charity I visited on my very first day in Downing Street. All this will help make sure that every person sleeping rough is offered a route off the street and a safe place to stay because, in one of the wealthiest countries in the world, people should not be left to sleep outside with nowhere to turn. This isn't the finish line. We'll keep building the homes, creating the jobs, and reforming the services to stop people reaching crisis point in the first place. But today, I wanted to say this: we should never accept rough sleeping as normal. Not in Britain, not in 2026, and not while I'm Prime Minister.

My eighth book is published today and sets out to discover how manufacturing shaped Britain. Why manufacturing spread across the country, how it grew, why it declined and what was left. It is looking at manufacturing through the lens of geography. britishmanufacturinghistory.…

The result of the Clacton by election should be known by the early hours of Friday morning, with a victory for Nigel Farage looking likely.  So for those counting down to the big moment - that makes it just 36 hours until the Parliamentary investigation into Nigel’s £5 Million gift can get back to work

Keir Starmer is now recognised as a serious international leader. He has stood alongside President Zelensky, Chancellor Scholz and President Macron at a time when Europe's security faces its greatest challenge in generations. He has shown he can work with President Trump when necessary and stand up to him when Britain's interests demand it. That is the responsibility of a Prime Minister. Andy Burnham has spent years as a regional mayor after leaving frontline national politics. Running Greater Manchester is one thing. Representing Britain on the world stage is quite another. The question is simple. Looking at these pictures, which of these men looks ready to lead Britain through the challenges ahead?
Starmer, Macron and Merz will meet Zelensky in London on Sunday evening. It always seems to come as a surprise in 🇬🇧 but Starmer is considered by 🇫🇷 to be a solid and efficient partner, on Ukraine and European security, and a crucial part of Europe’s E3 leadership format

We’ve hit a big landmark – 10 million free breakfasts served. 10 million better days at school – more children turning up, concentrating, getting on. 10 million easier mornings for parents – better drop-offs & commutes. Change doesn’t happen by chance, it comes with Labour. 🌹
