People like to make this point all the time, and to some extent it's true, but it also applies to women doing literally anything that men like.
Women being pleasant at scale ruins things for unpleasant women. Women being into sports ruins things for women who aren't into sports. Women cooking ruins things for women who don't cook. Women who actually like men ruins things for women who hate men.
"Highly desirable men" are going to want women who possess traits that they like. Women who don't possess those traits will always be at a disadvantage. There is nothing special about sluttiness here except that men tend to really like it
Everyone analyzes sluttiness through an individualistic lens, but the real problem with sluttiness is that, at a certain scale, it sort of ruins the game theory of dating for everyone. The more sluts there are in the dating pool, the less incentivized highly desirable men are to commit to any woman in particular, and the more likely it is that the average man will have to be married to an ex-slut (i.e., a bitter woman who chose to exit the game and settle) who in all likelihoods will be incapable of loving him. Furthermore, because more women are willing to put out, women who don’t are at a disadvantage and come across as prude or cold. So, more women are pressured into putting out quickly, which reinforces more of the above

I went on a date earlier this year with a woman who told me she wouldn’t have kids with a guy who wasn’t a millionaire. I asked was 500k enough? 700k? 800k? 900k? She emphatically said no, a millionaire. She worked retail at a department store. This is just where we are in society now & social media is making people lose their minds in regard to dating “preferences”.
