The best thing for crypto would be these fucking retards being banished to the shadow realm.
FaZe Banks explains why Kimchi partnering with Bottega Veneta is a huge win for the industry FaZe Banks: “He’s for sure gonna be able to leverage all this attention to go make $40,000,000. He's 22 years old” Ansem: “Bro he got a partnership with Bottega Veneta. That’s lit” FaZe Banks: “It is lit. I don't care if that's your cup of tea. I don't care if you want to wear Bottega but one thing is fact. We should all be able to come to the consensus, that is good for crypto” “Crypto's biggest issue has been swagless, aura-less. Objectively this is good for us like legitimately could be good for Bitcoin”

It’s pretty funny how fast the sentiment and general opinion around someone in the ecosystem can flip on ct. Two or three months ago, everyone was idolizing @izebel_eth, complimenting the way that he thinks, the way he expresses himself, and there was basically a favorable consensus around him. Same thing with @ThinkingUSD basically. Now it’s the complete opposite. The guys who make decisions, innovate, or have radical takes just get roasted on the second they’re wrong. And if they end up being right / the consensus on their decision was generally good, the whole world would’ve worshipped them. That’s also why the whole social trading idea won’t work long term. Most of these kols will never have the ability to stay consistent and keep talking about their trades when they make a mistake or take a bad call. Nothing to do with it but imo, the people who idolize Jeff and the @HyperliquidX team to an extreme way today, will be the first ones to spit on them, the moment a hard decision has to be made or one that doesn’t go the way of the majority. Anyway, stay chill and form your own opinion on people.
Flood said Friday and over the weekend that things were looking dreadful, and because the week started with a bounce many started to roast him. But compared to Friday open, a lot is in fact down.

Not a lot of people talking about the playbook Unit Labs has set up. -> What do people need when interest in crypto picks back up? Bridge their funds to come trade on a perp dex -> @unitxyz TVL climbs (the effect is even stronger with portfolio margin btw) -> What happens if interest of crypto drops off? Traders move to stocks for more volatility -> @tradexyz volumes go up. Basically no matter the market phase, these guys are always winning. Whether you like it or not, any competitor or builder has managed to create this kind of flywheel. And all of it benefits to Hyperliquid
🟣TradeXYZ losing momentum? After a record of nearly $37 billion in weekly volume in early August, volumes on TradeXYZ’s markets fell back to around $13 billion in September. Should this be seen as a genuine loss of interest in the protocol? In our view, this drop in activity is mainly the result of a deliberate choice made since launch, namely to let volumes grow organically. @tradexyz has never launched public incentives to attract traders. Without any farming period, virtually no one comes to trade on its HIP-3 markets solely in the hope of one day receiving a reward. Volumes therefore directly reflect what users want to trade, and how the market behaves. And since its user base is largely crypto-native, its behavior follows a fairly simple logic: ◻️ When expected volatility is higher in crypto than in TradFi, traders stay on their usual assets and neglect the HIP-3 markets. ◻️ When the opposite is true, and TradFi promises more future volatility, they come to trade on TradeXYZ’s markets. This is exactly what our infographic has shown since the beginning of the year. At the end of January, bitcoin:native drops from nearly $97,000 to $65,000, then settles into a range with no real prospect of an upside in the short term. Traders then go looking for volatility elsewhere, in narratives that have nothing to do with crypto, starting with AI-related stocks, whose performance captured the market’s full attention. As a result, TradeXYZ’s volumes go from barely $1 billion per week to more than $15 billion. The same scenario repeats itself in early June. bitcoin:native falls back toward $60,000 and remains stuck there all summer, even hitting its yearly low around $58,000 at the end of June. While crypto struggles to find a catalyst, the protocol’s volumes climb without interruption up to their early August record (11 consecutive weeks above $20 billion in volume). In mid-August, the trend reverses. bitcoin:native climbs back above $75,000 and then pushes toward $87,000 at the end of September. Crypto once again becomes the most volatile arena, and TradeXYZ’s volumes promptly fall back to around $13 billion. Even though TradeXYZ maintains a volume base well above that of the start of the year, proof that some users stay for the quality of the product, the 24/7 accessibility and the liquidity depth of its markets, traders above all go where future volatility is greatest. The challenge for TradeXYZ is therefore to remain competitive against protocols that use incentives to boost their adoption and their metrics. One of its best assets is precisely to offer the best markets, at the right time, by anticipating where volatility will be in the months ahead.

🔗 OAK Research x @re We are pleased to announce our latest partner Re, an onchain reinsurance protocol that allows stablecoin capital to serve as collateral for real reinsurance contracts. With nearly $717 million dollars in TVL, Re has established itself today as the main gateway to the $700B reinsurance market, long reserved for institutional investors. Our goal will be to clarify the relationship between reinsurance, onchain yield, and the risk associated with this business. Besides, we want to explain how Re actually works and what the protocol does beyond offering an interesting yield opportunity to loopers. This is a new top-tier partner joining OAK Research this month. It’s incredible to be able to work with protocols of this quality and scale. We would like to thank them for the trust they place in us. Job’s not finished. Just follow @OAK_Res.

What’s the strategy around listings on @variational_io? Today ~95 TradFi pairs have less than $1M volume in 24h. With RFQ model and their execution, that makes them not really usable ngl Ok it’s cool to list as many pairs as possible and become number one on that, but what’s the point if the infra costs and market maintenance on theses markets are higher than the returns that they bring? Sure they raised, but does that make it a sustainable model long term? I don’t think so Btw they should capitalize as much as possible on their moat, meaning ship more SWAP pairs, which is clearly one of the best products right now to trade and offers a really good user experience compared to the rest. I think they need to level up on the product that already proved itself and why not keep gaining market share with it. Also they should list pairs that people actually want to trade or ones that are gonna see volatility soon
Trump Media & Technology Group $DJT perps are now live with zero fees and up to 20x leverage.

Introducing Events by trade[XYZ]. With Events, we’re advancing our vision of Hyperliquid as the universal exchange—a single, composable system for trading financial assets and real-world outcomes. A user can deposit spot BTC, borrow USDC through portfolio margin, open a pre-ipo SpaceX perp position, hedge an upcoming SK Hynix earnings event with an events market, and pick the US Open winner—all from a single unified account on trade[XYZ]. Events will span sports, politics, economics, and financial markets, with an expanding range of categories and contract formats. Our initial Up/Down markets cover equities, commodities, and pre-IPOs, powered by the depth and liquidity of trade[XYZ] perpetuals on HIP-3. These perpetuals provide continuous price discovery and serve as the resolution source, so each contract is grounded in XYZ's liquid market prices rather than an external oracle.

Okay but that would mean we’re removing from the equation of tradeXYZ current success the fact that they didn’t have to build an entire infrastructure, that there was no momentum on Hyperliquid at the time, and that they could focus exclusively on product development, without even needing official incentives or even marketing. I think we have to take all these elements into account when talking about tradeXYZ success. Even money couldn’t combine all these factors. Without any one of them, tradeXYZ current success would have been completely different, and therefore cannot really be replicated in another situation.

Trade[XYZ] continues to hit new highs. The 7-day EMA just reached a new ATH at 50.7%, the 14-day EMA is now at 47.8%, and the 30-day EMA has climbed to a record 43.3%. Yesterday, Trade[XYZ] also accounted for more than 65% of Hyperliquid's total volume. The data speaks for itself.

Alright, question: Give me 3 reasons to hodl or buy the VAR token after the TGE, and why people won’t dump their bags the minute after the launch happens? Is @variational_io also one of those projects that, without your favorite kol shilling their ref links for any particular reason, would lose 95% of its users 2 years after launch, once all incentives are over? Of course, this question can also be answered if you’re a VC who already has a bag of tokens allocated in the tokenomics, whose only purpose is to dump them. You have 4 hours. Good luck.
This is awesome. Someone was trashing spreads on @variational_io, so this guy pointed his AI agent to just go pull the raw data instead of arguing about it. TL;DR: @variational_io spreads are really good across a huge swathe of assets. RFQ works.

SpaceX IPO priced at $135. Nasdaq first bid at $175. On Hyperliquid the SPCX pre-IPO perp has been trading at $170 for hours. $366M in 24h volume. $294M in open interest. The onchain orderbook had the price before Wall Street opened the doors. Again. @tradexyz. Hyperliquid.

2026 Trade[XYZ] Q1 Report Last week, HRC published the Hyperliquid 2026 Q1 Report. This week, we're following up with @tradexyz because the mission to reduce information asymmetry doesn't stop at Hyperliquid itself. HIP-3 formalized the open-infrastructure thesis at the market layer: external teams deploying perpetual markets on Hyperliquid's orderbook while earning 50% of the fees their markets generate. Trade[XYZ] was the first to deploy under this framework and remains by far the largest, accounting for approximately 85–90% of all HIP-3 volume. Billions in daily volume, genuine weekend price discovery, and two major macro stress events later, this is no longer just a successful product launch. "It points to a structural shift in how global markets could operate" At that scale, independent and rigorous reporting becomes a necessity. Some excerpts below, full PDF at the link. We hope you find it valuable. Hyperliquid. XYZ.

So first of all, thanks for your answer. I will explain myself on some points. First, you say that, everyone understands that metrics are not an indicator of success. However, it is the exact opposite for MegaETH imo. If the TVL of USDm is high, with your system, the entire ecosystem will benefit and the innovation brought by this mechanism will really make sense. This makes it an extremely important indicator to look at for your project. And precisely, with a tvl of usdm quite high from the beginning, yes you would have shown to the whole world and the guys who were criticizing, that yes you were right and that your system works. About mainnet. Not agree. I think to say that the mainnet didn't make a noise just because you don't have TGE is a mistake. It was a flop because no dapps were live (while the private mainnet allowed build projects on it and release their dapps day one, so if the private mainnet did not have this purpose, I want you to tell me what it was for in this case) and that no bridge had a normal slipage. Maybe not having TGE also has a role to play, but this is not the main cause imo. Then, yes I am not a builder and precisely. I'm still a user. So to say that « building solid things takes time » (and I agree) and therefore for this reason, let them wear with no clear explanation, in the blur and make them wait quietly, I am not a big fan. Having a lack of transparency and then telling the users (like me) that they lack patience because they don't understand how to build things, I don't think it’s the best way to explicate things. Regarding Euphoria. No, it was not a fud. Just the opinion of an honest guy who has been following the project for a year and a half, who has relatives who are ultra active on it (@EltommytoC) and who are absolutely not taken into consideration. Make announcements of announcements, solicit the community knowing that you are not going to launch for a while, give any CLEAR explanation on why nothing happens, I do not know what you call it but I don't call it respecting its community. I admit the little jab with the comparison with hyperswap does not really have to be, but it is just as ridiculous as the behavior of the project with its community since the beginning imo. Reading your message, I understood where the heart of the problem can come from. Imo and on some points (not all) you and the mega mafia projects had clearly lacked transparency on your decisions. I think there really was a disconnect between my feeling (and that of the community) and how you lived through this period. Again, I'm giving you my honest point of view and my goal is not really to belittle the project.

With all respect, let’s just remember that the MegaETH team achieved the biggest loss of earnings from the previous crypto cycle. Imagine having: -> One of the most hyped ICO since a very long time -> $1.3 billion looking to invest in your token -> An incubation program designed to rapidly scale native projects on your chain (Mega Mafia) -> $500 million in usdc ready to be bridged to your chain and swapped for USDm on day one of the mainnet (and proving that their economic system works). And in return, you get: -> Mainnet launch 5 months after the ICO in total silence/flop (impossible to bridge without losing a kidney) with a terrifying TVL. -> Canceling the bridge of 500 million USDC that was going to make your chain one of the biggest with a massive TVL (fear of managing too many funds at once imo) -> Any Mega Mafia dapps live during the first days of the mainnet (even though one of the reasons for delaying the mainnet launch was precisely to give the project time to build on the private mainnet) -> Very vague, if not non-existent, communication from the team post-mainnet. I still believe in the project’s fundamentals and its potential for success, but there have been far too many consecutive mistakes imo. Let’s give them a second chance with their incentives and their token. Happy TGE.
