When people ask which book I’d recommend for learning trading or TA, I always give the same answer, a book with no TA in it at all: Trading in the Zone by Mark Douglas - a book about mindset and emotional control.
This month I traded poorly. I wasn’t in the zone. Recognizing that, resetting, and coming back when you're locked in will save you more money than any indicator, system, or signal ever will.

During choppy frustrating periods you tend to look at more charts trying to find that perfect setup that probably isn't there.
The key is to have patience to wait for the market to show you where the setups are. It is a lot more rewarding to wait for the clean opportunities than to force trades in messy conditions.
For now, I continue to trade with smaller size on the majority of trades.
