Multnomah County’s DEI points system prioritized homeless housing by race and national origin. That ends today. Unlawful DEI scoring system gone. Applicants rescored on lawful criteria. Taxpayer dollars based on need — not identity.

Something everone needs to consider. You got 2 more years of Trump. IF you're lucky.
The problem is they’re deeply rooted in most of the institutions. If we’re being honest, Trump is kind of a speed bump and one of a kind. They think they can outlast him and they might be right. Who’s gonna take his place? Where’s the continuity, “defense in depth”???

If people want better for themselves, their kids and their businesses, they have to vote for change. As governor, I will restore our quality of life, serve our most vulnerable and make this a place where Oregonians can afford to live and are proud to call home again.

25 years of one-party Democrat control in Oregon is a masterclass in how leftist rule destroys a state’s ability to govern. This is the same state whose governor leads a system that no longer requires students to prove proficiency in reading, math, or English to graduate high school. 2001–03 budget: $34 billion • 32% education • 25% social programs • 12% infrastructure • 12% administration • 6% public safety • 13% everything else 2025–27 budget: $140 billion (over 4× higher) • 18% education • 45% social programs • 7.5% infrastructure • 14% administration • 5% public safety • 10.5% everything else Social programs went from $8.5 billion (25%) to $62.7 billion (45%) — 7 times more, nearly half the entire budget on handouts. “Healthier Oregon” spends $1.3 billion giving free medical care to illegal migrants. $724 million went to “homeless services” in 2024 — $60,412 per homeless person — while the homeless population rose. Walk Portland’s streets and see where that money actually went. Oregon schools sank to the bottom of the country in reading and math. Democrats’ solution? Pass a law eliminating proficiency requirements to graduate, extend it again, then brag about higher graduation rates. They’re not lifting people out of poverty or fixing education. They’re building a permanent dependency empire with themselves in charge. Their ads say it plainly: “Vote for us or Republicans will take away your benefits!” Governor Kotek can’t blame Trump. Democrats have controlled Oregon the entire time — even as the federal government flipped party control five times. This is what one-party Democrat rule delivers. #Oregon #DemocratFailure #Accountability

This is a turnout election. In 2022 we left 120,000 Republican ballots on kitchen tables. We lost the governor’s race by less than 70,000 votes and House and Senate seats by just a few hundred. We are not doing that again. GOTVOregon.com is building a 1,000-volunteer army to chase ballots the final weekend—Oct 31 through Nov 2. Knock doors, make calls, send texts, remind people to return their ballots. Two hours is the minimum. No experience needed. Sign up: GOTVOregon.com Two hours. One election. Let’s bring the votes home and save Oregon.

If THIS is not a reason to vote Republican, I'm not sure what will convince you. 🤷 The Oregon Democrat plan for healthcare would raise marginal tax rates to 70%+. You won't be able to choose your doctor, and the inept members of government will be in control of your health. Vote wisely.

Hey hi 👋🏼 Southern Oregon… Go vote Brad Hicks! 🗳️ We have to get rid of this Democrat Supermajority in Oregon. This is an extremely important race… Let us know if we can help!! ❤️🇺🇸 Brad Hicks has drawn the Libertarian endorsement.  Hicks has also won labor endorsements from the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 701 and United Association Local 290.  Democratic candidate, Denise Krause has not even won the endorsement of the exiting Senator Golden. If Brad Hicks wins, then the 60% super-majority, one-party rule in the Senate is broken.  The law requires all taxes to be passed with a super-majority 60% vote in the Legislature.   Breaking this 60% hold makes it very difficult to pass taxes because it requires the majority party to get cross-political party support. And this is how the government prevents inheritances. For all the Millennials screaming "Bbbuuut Boomers owe us!": that house your parents own, paid on for 30+ years, and they have to sell it because taxes went up so high, they tried to stay in front of it, but lost. Lets put this in perspective: Bought for $80,000 in 1980 (now worth $350k) Taxes were $800 a year. You grew up in it. 2010: Tax $8000 2020: Tax $15,000 2026: Tax $20,000 They took a reverse mortgage in 2010 to cover the taxes. And the taxes have cost them $360k. Tell us again how "boomers" are hoarding properties? No, they are losing their life-long homes to taxes that you kids can't even afford. Go take it up with your lawmakers. We are nearly tapped out.
“I’m old. I’ve paid my home off,” said Ray Warner, a 72-year-old Akron resident. “Why would I pay property tax?” Across the country, homeowners are asking the same question and revolting against property taxes at a scale not seen in a half century. politico.com/news/magazine/2…
