This will go down as the strangest election ever.
The Senate leader didn't campaign.
The Senate had nothing to offer us for our vote.
The Senate appears to be content with the outcome.
The Senate leader believes he deserves to be the minority leader based on his performance.
This is because the Senate leader represents the interests of the Senators that vote for him, not us. It was never about us. We must assume the Senators are happy with his conduct because we cannot find any Republican Senators calling for his replacement.
Let that sink in.

I'm actually at a loss for words, and that doesn't happen very often.
I've got an enormous amount of respect for this man, and having him put his confidence in me means more than he probably realizes.
To everyone coming over, welcome to The Elephant in the Room. I speak my mind, we'll have some laughs, and I'm not afraid to ruffle a few feathers.
Please make sure to head over to Mr. Stars new account, @GrowingUpRetro. He's earned a break from the political circus, and I have a feeling we're going to enjoy what comes next.
Thank you, brother. Truly. 🇺🇸🐘
As I close this chapter, it's time to pass the torch. If you enjoyed my content, you'll feel right at home with my friend @elephant_23.
