Jerry Lynn Robertson, 70, of Montgomery County, Texas, was convicted of continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14.
It started when she was 5. It went on for nearly 8 years.
Evidence at trial showed he had already started grooming another girl.
On Oct 13 the jury came back on punishment in under 15 minutes.
Fifteen minutes. That jury didn’t need any more time, and neither do I.
Should every case like this end the same way?
