Every few years some one builds a version of Abeg.

My Uncle worked here.
Being at their office in Ikeja made it clear what I wanted my career to be.
Last year, @FinancialTimes published a list of Africa's fastest growing companies of 2025. It had Chams—if you're reading this, you were most likely still an idea when it was getting registered.
This conversation is a front row seat to hearing about the foundational technologies that continue to shape our lives and what it took to build it.
P.S/Fun fact: The company that brought BVN used to sell computers (too), in 1992. Source: @StartArchiving
See you at @moonshotbytc (if you won't come, block me back 🙏🏾)
I want to build the layer of the web that protects things from being copied.
Your code locked and protected, ofc chase there’s always going to be tactics that prevent this.
But it’ll be a fun project.

What’s the point of telling students this?
Explain it to me please.
Anthropic employee tells students at university that their career won't exist when they graduate.
Imagine the levels of psychopathy it takes to give a speech to students trying to make their future better, then telling them don't bother, don't plan for the future, your degree is worthless and you wont have jobs.
Let me guess you are going to use AI agents built on existing models that cause the problem to try and solve the problem?
Lmao, you people were wondering why they were all saying “Pace The Frontier”.
If you know cyber security, you know that all it takes is a single vulnerability, one entry point and you can do stuff till you get to your goal.
A simple harness prompted to keep pressing will feed.
Please don’t listen to this.
Learn your shit and how to sell and replicate it with the models.
Also, don’t give good shit away for free.
Bro, what?
They're not really in loss:
Most of that money ($72 billion) is just a paper loss caused by math rules. Early investors were promised company shares in exchange for their loans.
Because Anthropic became way more valuable, those promised shares became worth a lot more, and accounting rules force the company to write that difference down as a "loss."
The bottom line: It looks scary on paper, but it’s an accounting trick not money missing from their bank account.

I turn 35 on the 25th of October, and I've decided that nobody will hear word. If you follow me on here, you'll know that it’s basically all I’ve been talking about.
It's important for me to make noise about my birthday this year because many years ago, I would be drowning in the birthday blues as my birthday came around. I'm just so happy that this year, the past few months have been filled with gratitude for where I am now and excitement for what’s to come. In this season I really want to celebrate myself fully for the woman I am today by sharing some of my recent wins:
- In September, I graduated from the WIMBIZ WIMBoard Mentorship Programme.
- Earlier this month, I was named one of 250 global leaders and innovators in market research and analytics by the Insight250, presented by ESOMAR.
- And a few days ago, my first book — Designing Usable Products for African Users: The African Usability Bible — officially published with Taylor & Francis. You can order it on Amazon and Routledge (links in the comments).
In my latest LinkedIn newsletter (link below) is a longer piece I have written, where I share six lessons from fourteen years of building a career I did not plan, across rooms I was not always sure I belonged in, toward work I am genuinely proud of today. I talk about how audacity is half the qualification you need, and how you can get over imposter syndrome so you can seize that opportunity you’ve been putting off, even when you don’t feel ready for it.
If any of that feels like what you need to hear right now, the link is below.
Thirty-five feels like permission. Not that I need it, but I am definitely taking it.
I’d love to know, what is the thing you have been waiting to feel ready for? Start anyway!
