Like a skilled prosecutor, she laid out how secure Scottsdale's water supply actually is, and how there's not even enough wastewater to make his toilet-to-tap scheme work. Councilman @BarrySGraham jumped in and showed the price. Zubia's plan would hit residents with over $9,000 per acre foot. Safer, more reliable options sit at about $550. Zubia wants to force you to pay more than 16 times the price. Zubia has not performed well in the general election. He can't shake his ties to extremist groups like the DSA. His debate performances have been muted. He's been exposed as the preferred candidate of a Virginia Super PAC and a statewide Mega PAC. He has made women feel uncomfortable. He endorsed Axon's apartments. He alienated central and north Scottsdale. He blamed residents for their canceled referendum. To avoid those problems, he bet his entire campaign on a water scare that collapsed in one meeting.
