While you are being gas lit by the Political Industrial Complex, all over social media and the news telling you what you are supposed to be outraged about, think about this.
Republicans funded the Refugee Program by nearly $6 billion of your tax payer dollars in the DHS appropriations bill even though you have been losing your mind about paying for refugee funding while you discovered all the Somalia fraud.
And the DHS appropriations bill funds all of Homeland Security including ICE.
Now you have watched a shooting video probably over 30 times trying to figure out what happened, while a near civil war is being fueled in MN.
But look past the hype and focus in on the granular details.
The DHS bill funds both ICE and Refugee Programs.
The DHS bill funds doubling H2B visas and deportations at the same time.
Do you see how the Uniparty in Washington funds both sides and then gas lights you and drives you to hate each other?
It is all manufactured to drive your outrage and that is how they make money.
When the American People stop being baited into fighting each other, the American People will defeat the Political Industrial Complex that divides us all and can work to truly put Americans First.

correct. these companies represent 70% of H1bs and they use de facto fraud to bring workers in with a title that isn't *really* what they do
eg: cognizant secures an H1b for a "software engineer" that only knows SQL. the USCIS worker reviewing the petition doesnt know anything about tech, approves it
that employee is then rented out to corporations as a contract database administrator for 6-12 months at a time
cognizant takes a tiny percentage of every hour the employee works, and over 3-6 years the ~10k that cognizant spent getting the H1b is paid off+profit, while the employee is working a 70k job that hundreds of thousands of americans could do
it's a low margin business model that relies on volume to be profitable
this 100k fee wipes out the margins on that scam and makes it impossible to earn a profit by importing foreigners for lower skilled, "tech adjacent"/IT jobs, many of which you don't even need a degree for
it's a perfect first move for visa reform. the high end of the market will sort itself out, while the bottom 70% gets fixed first
this won't effect SF much, but will be huge for the rest of the country
Trump just obliterated several multi-billion-dollar Indian staffing companies.
Many H-1B workers are hired via IT consulting and contracting companies, not directly by businesses. And these companies have big market caps:
Cognizant: $34B
Infosys: $70B
Tata Consultancy: $130B
Wipro: $30B
HCL: $45B
Tech Mahindra: $15B
For companies like this, $100k annual fees simply don’t work. Most of these workers are paid $90-110k (I’ll post the data and link to my previous thread in the next post), so the $100k fee doubles the cost of the worker and destroys the staffing companies margins.
Seeing the market respond on Monday is going to be really interesting. Yesterday probably would have been a great time to take out short positions.

Financial privacy isn't a crime and 99% of people using these tools are law abiding citizens who simply don't want others to know how much bitcoin they own and where it is.
This puts Americans in harm's way.
US regulators are signaling that common #Bitcoin practices, like self-custody, swaps, and privacy tools, could be labeled “suspicious.”

I am sorry if I totally fail to explain this, but we actually exist at more than one point in time, yet in two different locations. Somewhere in the "future", the price is already $444,444 and you are yelling at the screen trying to tell your younger self to look into the camera.
We are legends of the future, looking back at home videos of our younger selves and savoring the memories of these glory years.

real talk - in 2022 I lost 50% of all the money I made in the 2020-2021 bull because broke my own rules and went gigalong on some trades that I felt couldn't lose. well, I lost. Even with the stellar trading I've done since then, I've still only recouped about half of that loss.
As the crypto bull vibes heat up I implore you not to get hasty. Don't lever up to the gills. The market can and will hunt out excess and you'll end up losing more than you thought possible. Keep a check on your fomo and you might walk away with a few shackles or more by the end of it.

I find it hilarious the Bitcoin bros are spamming me after it reversed at precisely $110 where I said it would.
The top was $112, which I told you in this post.
It will never go any higher. Ever

This coincides with parabolic support turning negative.

I think we got the green light for modest continuation of the rally through month-end ... Not the rare explosion (running of the table for 84K exactly) but a move up to 100K to cinch earnings sufficient for S&P 500. It's been so many years since I heard these rules. I hope this message finds you well. Goodnight.

So here's the way I remember the rules working. Close between 80K and 84K means the rally can continue from here ... probably up to 100K by month-end.
If it closes at 84K exactly, we run the table ... HISTORIC moves.
Above 84K ---> we slip back down and the rally fails.
I didn't make up these rules ... it's been many years but this is what I recall. Good luck

Bear Market Analysis
1/5
It's time to talk about the next bear market.
There's no reason to think it couldn't happen now. The valuation justifies it. What it needs is a trigger. I think that trigger may be as simple as the Fed not cutting rates at all this year. Powell said as much last week. cnbc.com/2025/03/07/powell-s… But really, the market will just pick some 'bad' event and make that the reason, even if it isn't.
Given that, how low will it go and how long will it last?

These are foreigners on guest workers visa stealing a job from an AMerican.
If you are American, you and your children will never get a job in STEM or software again unless we end guest worker programs.
Replying to @lokeshRa_333
What do you know... Right around 50%. 1 out of 2 software development jobs TAKEN by H-1B/L-1.
