In the past 24 hours I’ve seen several relatives posting that individuals in their families ended their lives.
If you feel that you’d like to end yours, call 988 or 911.
But here’s my message: life seems heavy right now but there is a lot of HOPE!!!!!!
Don’t give up. ❤️

As an Iranian who has been closely following US politics from the outside over the past two years, let me tell you what was the reason behind the midterm election results in my opinion.
Many were blaming the Iran war.
The war in Iran was essentially a proxy war whose battlefield happened to be in Iran, but behind the scenes, a complex network of global powers was involved. China, Russia, Arab nations, the Democrats, and most importantly, the UK and European liberals were the lifelines and supporters of this regime, they had no intention of ever letting the Islamic regime in Iran go. The Islamic regime functioned as their tool, their financial cash cow, and their asset in the region, to entangle the US in the region and weaken it.
Trump confronted and stood against this entire network. He knew the regime was holding the Strait of Hormuz hostage, but he had the courage to step up, take the risk, and push forward. In response, they had no tools left except the narrative war.
A big sophisticated network started warmongering rhetoric and propaganda. Beyond the mainstream media, they even recruited right-wing podcasters like @TuckerCarlson , who suddenly flipped their positions and began spreading false narratives.
One of their primary tactics was stoking antisemitism and exploiting societal sensitivities, repeating lies until they were accepted as absolute fact. They kept claiming this was Israel’s war, which it simply wasn’t. I grew up in Iran and was forced to chant "Death to America" every morning at school, but I never once said "Death to Israel." This regime was obsessed with US, you are just so lucky you got Israeli intelligence in keeping you updated on the threat. Without Israel, you may had learned about it after a nuclear 9/11. This was America’s war, a fight against a system that was being weaponized to undermine the United States.
As for the necessity of this conflict, Trump had known for years (dating back to his first term) what needed to be done with this regime. Why this timing? Because the people of Iran rose up in January 2026. If you had paid attention, the military buildup started immediately afterward because any meaningful action had to tap into the energy and courage of the Iranian people.
No one in the media tells you that the Islamic regime massacred 75,000 people in Iran, and suddenly that horrific atrocity became a non-issue, completely brushed aside by those who are obsessed with Gaza.
The fearmongers constantly tried to claim that this is just another "forever war," when in reality, Trump was actively preventing a repeat of the Iraq and Afghanistan disasters. What happened back then was a sudden, uncalculated collapse with no plan for the aftermath, plunging those countries into chaos and trapping America in a quagmire. But this time, Trump was handling it in a very controlled manner, applying limited, gradual pressure to steadily weaken the regime so the people could take their country back themselves, without needing any American boots on the ground.
They knew full well that there were no boots on the ground in Iran and that their claims were baseless, yet they intentionally made mountains out of molehills to distort public opinion and hence bail out the regime.
But it changes nothing for @realDonaldTrump , he finishes what he starts, and this will become his lasting legacy. Sadly, by making these choices, Americans have deprived themselves of domestic progress Trump could have offered, and even worse, let the enemy within inside the Senate and the House.
I truly hope this serves as a wake-up call so that by 2028, these lies won’t work on you anymore.

"But make no mistake about it, brothers and sisters; in the months and years ahead, events will require of each member that he or she decide whether or not he or she will follow the First Presidency.
Members will find it more difficult to halt longer between two opinions (see 1 Kings 18:21).
President Marion G. Romney said, many years ago, that he had “NEVER hesitated to follow the counsel of the Authorities of the Church even though it crossed my social, professional, or political life” (CR, April 1941, p. 123).
This is a hard doctrine, but it is a particularly vital doctrine in a society which is becoming more wicked.
In short, brothers and sisters, not being ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ includes not being ashamed of the prophets of Jesus Christ.

A lot of folks don’t mind Christians giving 10% to God, until Latter‑day Saints do it. The problem isn’t tithing. It’s that the Church didn’t just collect it; it stewarded it wisely. Accountability suddenly feels threatening when the results speak for themselves.

"Mormons aren't Christian, they worship a different Jesus."
Let's check.
Our Jesus was born of Mary in Bethlehem.
He healed the sick, raised the dead, and forgave sins.
He bled in Gethsemane and died on the cross at Calvary.
He rose the third day with a glorified, resurrected body.
He is the Son of God and the only way to the Father.
That's the Jesus of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Which part is different?
The church's name is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Disagreeing about the creeds doesn't make it a different Jesus.

Russell M Nelson, speaking of Abortion:
"Man-made rules have now legalized that which has been forbidden by God from the dawn of time! Human reasoning has twisted and transformed absolute truth into sound-bite slogans that promote a practice that is consummately wrong."

Do we realize what we are a part of right now?
President Nelson taught:
"My dear brothers and sisters, so many wonderful things are ahead. In coming days, we will see the greatest manifestations of the Savior’s power that the world has EVER seen.
Between now and the time He returns ‘with power and great glory,’ He will bestow countless privileges, blessings, and miracles upon the faithful.”
Blessings.
Privileges.
MIRACLES!
I could see the last days becoming similar to the days of the Old Testament/Isaiah (maybe this is why the Savior told us to study the words of Isaiah?)-- with us being surrounded by those who are set upon persecuting and destroying us, yet having the POWER and protection of God with us (with our God showing that He IS God.)
In the words of Israel's enemies...
"Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel." (2 Kings 5:15)
"The LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath." (Joshua 2:11)
A more recent revelation:
"And it shall be called the New Jerusalem, a land of peace, a city of refuge, a place of safety for the saints of the Most High God;
And the glory of the Lord shall be there, and the terror of the Lord also shall be there, insomuch that the wicked will NOT come unto it, and it shall be called Zion.
And it shall come to pass among the wicked, that every man that will not take his sword against his neighbor must needs flee unto Zion for SAFETY.
And there shall be gathered unto it out of every nation under heaven; and it shall be the ONLY people that shall not be at war one with another.
And it shall be said among the wicked: Let us not go up to battle against Zion, for the inhabitants of Zion are terrible; wherefore we CANNOT stand.
And it shall come to pass that the righteous shall be gathered out from among all nations, and shall come to Zion, singing with songs of everlasting JOY." (Doctrine and Covenants 45:66-71)
In the words of President Holland-- “Zion is not WHERE we live, but HOW we live.”
Right now, our homes and lives can become a sacred, holy place, where God will dwell, and protect us— no matter where on earth we live!
It is part of the Lord's COVENANT promise. "They will be my people, and I will be their God."
A Zion home.
A Zion heart.
President Nelson also said:
"Whenever ANY kind of upheaval occurs in your life, the safest place to be spiritually is living INSIDE your temple COVENANTS!"
Blessings.
Privileges.
MIRACLES.
No matter how many, or how powerful those who are coming against us may be, there will ALWAYS be “more with us than with them.”
We worship a loving, merciful God, and we are in VERY good hands!
It is an amazing time to be alive!

I agree completely with the core sentiment here. As a federal prosecutor who spent my entire career living in courtrooms and trying cases before juries, I’ve never seen anything like this either.
Jurors are an independent constitutional check. Once sworn and instructed, their duty is not to satisfy the prosecution, the defense, the media, the court, or even the other jurors. It is to apply the law as instructed and decide the case according to the evidence and their OWN judgment. This juror did just that.
Disagree with this juror all you want. But publicly smearing him, identifying him, digging through his past, contacting his family, and showing up at his home because he refused to vote for acquittal crosses an extraordinary line.
That doesn’t merely punish one juror. It sends a warning to the next one: reach the “wrong” conclusion, and, we will come for you, too. And it is increasingly difficult to escape the conclusion that intimidation is precisely the point of this campaign by the media and those defending the indefensible.
This moment is profoundly dangerous. I spent enough of my life in courtrooms to know that the independence of jurors is not some procedural nicety. It is foundational to the system. If we defend that independence only when we like the verdict, then it isn’t independence at all.
I’ve won cases. I’ve lost cases. I’ve agreed with jurors and juries, and I’ve disagreed with them. But NEVER has it even crossed my mind that the answer to disagreeing with a juror was to publicly dehumanize him, put him in danger, terrorize his family, or try to destroy his life.
This is truly sick.

Talking to the 14 year old daughter today and she told me of an experience she had at school the other day.
A student in choir came up to her and asked, "Why are you so happy all the time? How do you do it?"
Her reply was profound.
"I know who I am," she said, "And when I look around and see everything I have, I'm grateful. How could you not be happy?"

The ONLY being that can teach you about religion, God, salvation and your eternal destiny is the Holy Ghost. Because God seldom appears to individuals in person, He sent the Holy Ghost to testify of truth.
If you're trying to convince me that the Holy Ghost has taught me incorrectly you're only going to look silly. I will pray for you to humbly listen to the Holy Ghost, but in order to hear the Holy Ghost, you'll need to have faith in Jesus Christ and repent of your sins.
You can read the Bible a thousand times over. You can even memorize it, but without the Holy Ghost all your knowledge is in vain.
Seek the Holy Ghost. He will testify of God the Father and Jesus Christ and bring all truths to your remembrance. And, a beginning of understanding begins with a true understand of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

A word about Garments and especially to those who say I should never discuss my underwear:
(TL:DR)
I don’t wear underwear.
I wear the garment of the holy priesthood.
To abbreviate the Garment of the Holy Priesthood is lazy vernacular in the culture of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Nevertheless I will use that here.
To think that my garment is “underwear” is blasphemous.
It represents so much more. It is part of a sacred covenant and should never be reduced to being called underwear.
I am asked about the health of my testimony and my diligence in keeping my covenants twice every two years (once by my bishop, once by stake president.) Answering the questions about my obedience to the Lord is a delight. It is not embarrassing or disrespectful or shameful. I *would* be concerned if my leaders asked about my underwear. I don’t wear underwear. I wear the garment of the holy priesthood.
For those who care about words, because they matter, the garment is a sacred symbol of the convents I made when I received my endowment.
They are a daily reminder of those covenants.
Because my garment is sacred, I dress to cover my garment so it doesn’t show. I don’t bandy the word “modesty” about because the garment is not about modesty. The garment is about The laws of the Gospel and other sacred things.
Sacred things are not ordinary like underwear.
Hanes is ordinary. Fruit of the loom is ordinary. Victoria’s Secret is ordinary.
Therefore! Our garment is not ordinary. That’s okay with us. Our church is not ordinary. The temple is certainly not ordinary.
We are not an ordinary people. We, endowed members of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, are a covenant keeping people.
