Oldham's principal war memorial was unveiled by General Sir Ian Hamilton in April 1923 before a crowd estimated at over 10,000. My great Grandad's name John Ludden is on it . He was killed in 1917.
Lest We Forget❤️
In 1986 a Nobel physicist dropped a piece of rubber into his glass of ice water on live TV. It explained why seven astronauts died
Challenger broke apart 73 seconds after liftoff, on the coldest morning a shuttle had ever launched. The night before, the engineers who built its boosters warned the rubber seals could fail in the cold. NASA launched anyway
At the hearing Richard Feynman pulled a strip of that rubber out of a model, squeezed it in a small clamp and dropped it into his ice water. Watch his hands
He lets go and the rubber doesn't spring back. A seal that can't spring back can't seal. Turn the sound on
He didn't find it alone. General Donald Kutyna pointed him to the O-rings, and Kutyna got it from astronaut Sally Ride, who had quietly passed him NASA's own test data. He kept her name secret until she died in 2012
Feynman's final report ended with one line: nature cannot be fooled

Sensitive and reverent coverage of Remembrance Day and Veterans on GB News today. thank you 🌺

How are the leaflets your lot handed out to the men who’ve arrived across the channel going? You know, the ones telling them they mustn’t rape and sexually abuse women? The men you’ve dumped in our communities all over the UK.

Shame you did the opposite with Post Masters, many of whom died as a result of your interference and money making

Now dust has settled from yesterday I actually thought @ManUtd played really well in 1st half & could easily have been 2 or 3 up at HT. Plenty of effort, good moves but woeful finishing. Lost momentum in 2nd half & Martinez madness killed it.Keep Carrick. Keep 1st half spirit. 👍

Donald Trump is going to go down as one of the most consequential Presidents ever.
Can you imagine Obama doing this?
This is undoubtedly one of the single greatest moments in presidential history.
Donald Trump asked what it will take for him to believe there is no white genocide going on in South Africa.
President Cyril Ramaphosa offers a preposterous answer.
Donald Trump then plays five minutes of South African political leaders calling to kill white South African farmers.
Watch Cyril Ramaphosa’s stupid smile, ultimately fade into a grimace.
Although I make a prediction: MSM is going to fact check Trump on the crosses memorial at the end of the video. They are going to say it is a memorial for ALL farmers killed, not just white farmers.
They will not tell you that over 87% of all farmers killed have been white.
