Alright, let's give this another shot! I have way too many things I want to share to disappear here on X. I look forward to the positive interactions... and we'll deal with the negative ones swiftly 馃槀

From there, I decided to run MemMaker. Strange how MemMaker doesn't suggest DOS=HIGH as a setting. After MemMaker ran, and after I added it, we pretty much have all of conventional memory free!

So yea, that's where we are at! Look at all of these nice drive letters in File Manager, including drive Z: for my network share. This is so overkill, but it's also fun. Thanks for following along. @threadreaderapp unroll

Recently I found this nice Armada 7700 series upgrade kit on eBay for cheap. Since I don't have a working floppy or CD-ROM for my newest Armada 7730MT, I thought "why not fill the bay with this!" Let's make it happen. Time for a 馃У

Alright! So I put the CF card in an adapter, and then put it in the hard drive sleigh, and then into the Armada 7700 drive bay adapter. And I powered up the system. Hard drive failure! So I moved the jumper on the CF card adapter. Success!

From there, it was a matter of setting up partitions, and when I booted up, we can see the two partitions I made in Windows 3.11's File Manager. Anyway, that's it, a short thread for once. Thanks for following along!! @threadreaderapp unroll

Alright, we are all buttoned up now. I found some better screws! Either the screws were stripped, or this case really takes slightly bigger screws. Either way, we are in business! And when we boot up, just look at this beautiful device detection screen!!

So other than fixing up the Gotek and Bernoulli drive, we have one more thing to add: a case badge! I couldn't decide on which one I wanted, so I put on this temp one and ordered a bunch from @geekenspiel . Anyway that's all for now. Thx for reading! @threadreaderapp unroll

Processor-wise we have a Pentium III 333 MHz CPU. Not too bad! Looks like it was pulled from a Compaq 馃槀
