I think one of my favorite online moments from the last few years is when Chadd Wright told Joe Rogan,
"You know, I'm wondering, Joe, if the Almighty ain't callin' you"
This is pretty much, thought for thought, exactly what I said 8 hours ago.
I'd actually argue that horror is the most Christian genre of film. Obviously that's not true of the torture porn stuff -- films in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre tradition -- but supernatural horror is often subtly Christian and sometimes very explicitly Christian. It's the only category of film where the supernatural, demons, spirits, exorcisms, the Church, etc, are consistently taken seriously. The only genre where the priest might actually be the good guy. Horror has deep roots in Christian thought and tradition.
Horror is, perhaps unexpectedly, one of the most Christian genres of films. Now, a caveat is that most of what gets made today is aesthetically gross and filthy, but the central ideas of horror are often deeply Christian themes: the reality of evil, the inescapability of judgement, supernatural malevolence, the desire for evil to destroy that which is pure , and ultimately the triumph of righteousness and light over evil.

I remember hearing Ergun Caner tell the wedding night joke he did here at Liberty University somewhere around 2008?
Honestly, love that JHowe is getting more attention.
He thinks he wants it, but if he was smart really wouldn’t.

Seriously how do these people not see all of this is exactly what Keller would have championed
The number of Christians fretting over this partnership is emblematic of the Loser Theology @dmichaelclary describes in his book.
We should champion Christians making inroads into cultural strongholds held by the enemy. We want their influence inside Disney. Nothing I’ve seen from them would indicate that they will compromise in this partnership.
Not that long ago, Disney had many strong Christians in high places of creative power. We don’t have to accept cultural defeat.
1 Timothy 3:15 is always a funny verse people go to to prove that the Church is somehow over God's word, the verse right before it Paul says, "I am writing you these instructions so that, 15 if I am delayed you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God's household"
Paul's written instructions are the authorized substitute for his apostolic presence in exercising authority over the church.
The Anglican church literally started because we said God's word holds authority over the church not the other way around.

The church is a creature of God's Word, the Bible is written to build up the church and govern it, it stands over and above the church. Paul's letters make this is plainly obvious because he is writing to them and authoritatively critiquing them.

When was Teresa of Avila included in feasts for Anglicans? Earliest I can tell is in 1988?
Is this more Epcot Anglicanism?
Let us celebrate the Feast Day of Teresa of Ávila!
"O God, your blessed Son became poor for our sake, and chose the Cross over the kingdoms of this world: Deliver us from an inordinate love of worldly things, that we, inspired by the devotion of your servant Teresa of Ávila, may seek you with singleness of heart, behold your glory by faith, and attain to the riches of your everlasting kingdom, where we shall be united with our Savior Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen."
