Dwyane Wade gets real HONEST about Bam Adebayo and the Miami Heat 👀
“He gotta be the number 1 option with the 2nd unit guys. Point blank period. You can’t be a role player with the role players. — The shooters are struggling… but here’s why they’re struggling some. There’s no rhythm, flow to the game. — You’d expect them to be a real good defensive team. The big 3 we were 9-8 but our defense was at least our calling card. — They have nothing to hang their hat on right now. — They’re not a team yet. Bunch of individual guys that haven’t had uncomfortable conversations yet. They’re great guys individually but you have to get to some uncomfortable sh*t”

Dwyane Wade speaks on Bam Adebayo’s slow start:
“The struggles are there. You can’t run away from the struggle… Bam’s become really good in the middle of the floor… he didn’t get one P&R. Bam gets P&R lobs. There’s none of that for bam. There was no getting in the mid post area and going to work. — Bam, you can’t be pushed to the corner. You can’t be pushed out of the offense. Your defensive game goes as your offensive game goes. You got to touch that ball.”

The average person will never understand this. When you regularly lock in the gym you do have to let alot of fattening foods go.
Kandi Burruss was left completely stunned after Kirk Franklin REVEALS he hasn’t touched soul food, fried food, fast food, or soda in 25 years and says he has never even tasted a lemon pepper wing in his entire life.
“I haven't had fried food, or soda, or fast food, about 25 years... fried food or soul food.”
“To say for years not to have a lemon pepper chicken wing, I don't know.”
“I don't think I've ever had a lemon pepper chicken wing... Don't take my black card, I need my black card because I love being black.”
“What does your cheat day consist of?”
“A hamburger, fries... I may have that maybe twice a year.”
“Well, fries are fried food.”

I’m so exhausted by panels, festivals & conversations about inner city work from folks that don’t show up until it’s an election cycle or award show & did zero TODAY.

Gilbert Arenas on why the superstar players are getting hurt in the NBA:
“I said it season 1 and I’m going to say it again as a guy that’s a track runner and I’m looking at history of the game the early 2000s, 90s, 80s, 70s, 60s star players didn’t get hurt this much there’s a reason the star is getting hurt this much because what happens is if you’re not really training and getting in shape and you’re just letting them in their summer looking good come into the season bullsh*t through training camp and then go out in the game play against another superstar that superstar is going to go 100 for the first time and that is what happening.”
Demarcus Cousins says the NBA is moving towards where every good team has a plethora of guards:
“Even when you look at a team like San Antonio they have a bunch of guards, Minnesota a bunch of guards, OKC a bunch of guards. So I don’t know I think we all know it’s this a trending league but that could possibly be where the league is kind of going you want to have that extra layer of guards are that rotation of guards where basically when one group comes out the game don’t really change it stays exactly where it is.”

The basketball world has a long memory.
The assistant you ignore today may become a head coach.
The administrator you dismiss may become an AD.
The young staffer you barely acknowledge may someday be making hiring decisions.
Treat people well because it’s the right thing to do.
It also happens to be really good career advice.

I know we give @Lj_era8 credit for being an incredible athlete & playmaker, but he doesn’t get enough credit for how good he is at playing QB IMO! Continually making quick decisions, big time throws on time, in the pocket & having a plan with his process! He’s gotten really good at everything!
