Catching up on AFL video and 17-year-old Angeibel Gomez turning around a 3-2 slider at 108 MPH for a double immediately stood out.
Double-A opponents hit roughly .120 against that slider this year with a whiff rate just shy of 50%. Safe to say Gomez is ahead of his years.

Picollo says Zumwalt had a history with players on the team, "did a good job." This was the plan, to bring in assistants Marcus Thames and Connor Dawson and have Zumwalt return to minors. Team will add another assistant hitting coach.
