I took a stab at predicting where some top free agents could land, and I must admit to some trolling by projecting Ty France to Cleveland.

I always love the list of minor league free agents as a way of remembering some guys. Jon Heasley! Joey Wiemer! Garrett Hampson! They're all here!

love when they call a state with 1% of the vote in like they should be able to announce a nets loss within a few minutes of game time

Oh is there a votesball happening today? That’s cute. I’m focused on real issues like the Minnesota Vikings rushing attack but that’s fun for you🙄

Would have loved to have seen the Royals pick him up. Has an outstanding slider, good numbers in AAA last year.
Source: The Astros are acquiring Evan Reifert from the Rays. Reifert, 27, posted a 2.48 ERA in 46 appearances in Triple-A with Tampa this season.

The Royals bullpen stunk this year and needs to be addressed. But spending big money on relievers is not the answer. royalsreview.com/kansas-city…

What are the most famous "last outs" of a World Series? I can recall (not counting Royals series): Ripken catches a liner in '83 Jesse Orosco strikes out Marty Barrett in '86 Charlie Hayes catches a pop up in '96 Josh Beckett taggs a runner in '03 Keith Foulke comebacker in '04

Pat McAfee said this. Pat McAfee did that. Wake me up when Pat McAfee actually protects my computer from viruses like I freaking paid for.

There has been some talk from fans that the Royals should trade Vinnie Pasquantino. But I wrote that could cause more problems that it solves. royalsreview.com/kansas-city…

Why are you stealing third with two outs? There's being aggressive and then there are TOOTBLANS

The Rays and Brewers are meeting in the World Series. Back in September I wrote about what the Royals could learn from these two small-market success stories. royalsreview.com/kansas-city…

If you have a short attention span, the good news is that there aren’t a ton of names the Royals have to consider adding to the 40-man roster!

I'm always amazed at the number of people that like baseball that want *fewer* baseball games. 162 is great! Get rid of the mediocre playoff teams!
Major League Baseball proposed cutting the regular-season schedule from 162 games to 154 games in a bargaining session with the MLBPA today. Also part of its proposal: higher seeds in playoffs get to choose their opponents, and division series expand to seven games.

Also seems to bolster the point that MLB owners don't need to spend money on payroll to be successful in the standings.
MLB Payrolls of the remaining teams, ranked. Guardians: 29th Rays: 28th White Sox: 27th Brewers: 19th Dodgers: 1st So one out of the top 5 teams left spends money, and apparently that means we need a salary cap?

Imagine how good it would feel to send Liberty Biberty 450 feet deep to dead center in a home run derby
