On the sidelines of #CHOGM2026, President Kagame met with Prime Minister Andrew Holness of Jamaica. The two leaders discussed the longstanding bilateral cooperation between Rwanda and Jamaica and the way forward in expanding collaboration in areas of mutual interest, including health, defence and tourism, among others. President Kagame later met with Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO). They discussed Rwanda’s ongoing partnership with the WTO and the importance of boosting regional trade and investment to achieve sustainable development outcomes.

Day 2 of #CHOGM2026 in Antigua and Barbuda.

This morning at the National Performing Arts Centre in St. John’s, President Kagame joined host Prime Minister Gaston Browne of Antigua, His Majesty King Charles III, Commonwealth Heads of State and Government and international dignitaries for the official Opening Ceremony of #CHOGM2026.

This afternoon, President Kagame participated in the first #CHOGM2026 Heads of Government Executive Session, alongside host Prime Minister Gaston Browne, and leaders from across Commonwealth member states. The closed-door, formal sessions serve as an opportunity for leaders to address shared challenges and set guiding principles for cooperation.

During his third day at #CHOGM2026, President Kagame met with host Prime Minister Gaston Browne, Prime Minister Philip Davis of Bahamas and Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya of Sri Lanka.

President Kagame also met with Prime Minister Godwin Friday of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini of Eswatini. #CHOGM2026

Day 3 of #CHOGM2026 in Antigua and Barbuda.

President Kagame arrived in Antigua and Barbuda for #CHOGM2026, where he began his visit with the country’s 45th Independence Day Ceremonial Parade.

This afternoon at Urugwiro Village, President Kagame received Hon. Serap Güler, Minister of State at the German Federal Foreign Office. Their discussions focused on strengthening the extensive bilateral cooperation between Rwanda and Germany in areas of mutual interest.
